Two lorries collided at 3am near Chieveley…well done driver, you’ve got us all the blame according to Radio Oxford.
Secondly, wtf are HA playing at? They said it’d be open at 8am. Then 8:30 then 9:30 then 10 then 10:30 and as I type it stands at 11:15. Why don’t you either keep your gobs shut or say “no idea”. Traffic is back past Abingdon I’ve just heard…
I went into Abingdon to tip at 0925, tipped 18 plts and back in the que at near enough the same place at 1010! Was held up about 10 mins then free flowing.
Yeah about 10 minutes after Radio Oxfords’ “up to date travel news” they announced it was clear Not sure how “17 miles” of traffic disappears that quick but the butch voiced woman on Radio Bilge said so.
my mate went that way last night after the M40 was shut because an artic had overturned he said its load was all over the carriageway and there was a big hole in the drivers side windscreen then he ran into the A34 mess…
And folk in Reading wonder why trucks use the A4074…
Pete.

Some ■■■■■■ suggested banning lorries from the A34…I wouldn’t mind that as the Wantage-Newbury road is very scenic

Just ban lorries from everywhere. We’ve got a new drop on in Witney now, is it ok if we come in and deliver stuff to it?

Aslong as you only use the A40 and not streets with houses on them

Oh well, carry on into the town centre and play “spot the underage tart” as you pass the clock tower thing (Buttercross) Don’t use the layby cafes on the A40 near Eynsham, their 'king disgusting.

I believe he got out with cuts and bruises. Lets hope you have the same fortune when it go’s wrong.
I was there that night! Tesco artic and Scania with container. Scania’s cab was destroyed!I stuck for 1h and 30min.
Residents of East Ilsley are campaigning for the A34 to be reduced to 50 mph because, according to one woman on Radio Oxford “It’s hard to get off the sliproad and people don’t move over.”
Someobw else suggested lorries banned from overtaking between Oxford and M4. Tossers.
You should pack in listening to Radio Oxford mate, it’s obviously no good for you.

Yes Rob he did, cuts bruises and a broken nose. Which having seen the photo’s of the cab is nowt short of a bloody miracle. I’m getting him to choose my lottery numbers this week
Travelling down south yesterday morning i am sure I saw the matrix sign on the m40 say that the m40 was closed between junction 8 and 6 so I thought I would go down the a34. Things were going fine untill I hit the traffic jam at 0630. Did not get going again untill 0930.
Went past the scene of the accident and there was only 3 guys trying to clean up the diesel spill.

Some of the stuff they talk about on there is such solid gold (zb)ite it’s hilarious; The “ban lorries from…” brigade are great (normally university geeks and green party yoghurt knitters) but Radio Ox’ do tosh like talking to another boring prat who’s just been to Africa to teach Christianity and built a church from mud and cow dung
