I believe he got out with cuts and bruises. Lets hope you have the same fortune when it go’s wrong.
Yes Rob he did, cuts bruises and a broken nose. Which having seen the photo’s of the cab is nowt short of a bloody miracle. I’m getting him to choose my lottery numbers this week
+1
Photos made you think twice! made a right mess. Ive been told it was his microwave that hit him in the face resulting in the broken nose! OUCH!!!
On a DCPC course a few weeks back, I saw on a video what happens during a rollover; I moved my towing eye from the bin behind my seat to passenger one and covered it with coat, bag and other bits…Bloody thing shouldn’t be stowed in the cab but I’ve been told we can’t leave them attached to the front either…

Good point, it is easy not to think of the implications or having heavy objects unsecured in the cab, in an accident they turn in to missiles
I have hard stories about people being seriously injured in vans that dont have any segregation between the loadspace and the cab
It doesn’t matter how many trucks I see driven by so called ‘professional drivers’ they still tailgate each other. The worst are drivers from the companies too, especially so if they are running in convoy.
Things get a bit more sane at night time but we’ve all seen trucks so close you couldn’t even fit a smart car between them!!!
