If they are seriously in hock to others believe me you will be lucky to see 10% of what you are owed and you won’t see that until the companies assets have been sold off and the proceeds shared out.Employed drivers will be paid in full including holiday and redundancy pay by central Government.
Glad to here that, I have no time for Stobart but I do have the utmost sympathy for those employed by them and and the many suppliers and small firms that rely on them for work, those at the top will have lined their pockets and sold their shares long ago and will face no sanction whatsoever if indeed this does happen and they do go under.
Tesco Thurrock seemed to be having a meeting with the stobart drivers today in goods in.

TBH All of this sounds farcical… normal business with continue on Monday,After several frantic phone calls on Monday, Dopey will find out that the person who normally does the payroll for the agency is on holiday (Benidorm?) and whoever did the payroll last week accidentally missed off a whole page of names and the error will be fixed Monday morning … crisis averted
There’s no excuse good enough for wages not going in on the due date. Certainly if I was due to be paid on a Friday and I wasn’t, there is no way on earth I would be reporting for work on Monday.

I’d report for work on monday ok, but no work would be done without a cheque being placed in my hands for the previous weeks work first.

I’m off this week, we were just setting off for a couple of days away on a break, and my pay slip was e.mailed to me.
The Mrs came in the room to see what all the noise was about (me screaming down the phone at my boss as mad as [zb])The shower of [zb] that I work for had only paid me a basic wage…why? Because I had not downloaded my card, just a genuine oversight on my part as I have downloaded it every other week.
A courtesy call to me (as a long term driver) telling me prior to their intention so I could sort it would have been a better course of action I feel.Then they wonder why I hate the [zb] s and why the firm is a ‘Them & Us’’ firm rather than a ’ Team Firm’.
It had no real effect on me financially, and was not a problem in real terms, but it could have been as far as those bastds knew.

If you want nights out advance transport in corby, good rates & work. Route logistics again at Corby easy work good pay.you moan no stop about Stobarts but you wont work anywhere else. Get some backbone man and go and try something different

Dopys like a stick of Blackpool rock, if you cut him in half he’d have Stobarts written thru the middle of him.
However unlikely the scenario of Stobarts running into financial problems and their in-house agency doesn’t pay Dopy, I’d be on the phone directly to the payroll department chasing money as soon as the the office opens on Monday morning. IF by lunchtime the payroll issue isn’t sorted I’d be turning the truck around and heading back to the yard and unloading my gear out of the truck and head home and cut my losses

Time sheet on there web site & fill in time
Sheet & hand that in to stobart t.o
On a Friday when they get back , wages are
Then paid by ezy solutions & you get pay
Slip emailed to you
So I’d love to know how you think
A stobart driver would know if a lp
