Met the love of my life last year. Unfortunately she lives in Northern Ireland and I live in Scotland. She has said she doesn’t want to move over here so looks like it’s down to me.
What I want to know is who are the top payers for days/nights and tramping.

Lol. Getting some popcorn in for this one. He’s going to find that a lot of companies are related through inbreeding and incestuous relationships and will therefore have agreed a rate they all charge. He’ll be looking at £80 nett or less for a hard 15 hour day.

The OP also needs to know that employment and tachograph laws don’t apply to haulage companies here 
He should also know that the haulage company will think he’s just another stupid dumbass piece of ■■■ and will take every opportunity to screw him out of his very hard earned wage and if he doesn’t like it,well there is plenty more ■■■■ to take his place.

To try and sound half sensible:
Day shift work about £400net for roughly 50hrs with near any outfit.
Night shift maybe £420/450net similar hrs.
Tramping late boat out Sun night and home boat Fri £500 to £650 depending on who you go with.
Subbie will pay near £750 for 6cards tramping but “cowboy” work!!!
Sawyers pay rise started last Wed 1st Feb and supposed to pay £600+home for frigo work tramping 5cards (handy/dry/clean work with good plant) and will need a week or two to find out if true!!! 
100% legal.

It’s noW “up” to £455gross plus £25 meal allowance for 55hrs contract on days but rarely actually do over 50hrs unless wanting OT for 55+.
Woodsides something similar but night shift get £90wk unsocial hrs payment.

You could try McBurney as their main depot down road towards Larne.
Dayshift/nightshift not great but tramping Sun evening to Fri maxing cards about £620/640net all legal.
