What sort of experience have you ? Fridges , Tanks , ADR ? How about nights out ? Plenty of small firms that never get mentioned could be looking the right man with the right experience . Our mob are not that far away.
You could try Dale Farm (Diary Products ) based in Ballymena - good plant , legal not sure of wages but most guys in there seem happy and no sign of them moving on anywhere else .

because most of them have been reversing tractors on the grass since they were 6 years old,and dont worry chaps,il be giving it large later on when i get time…some of us have a boat to catch…

To try and sound half sensible:Day shift work about £400net for roughly 50hrs with near any outfit.
Night shift maybe £420/450net similar hrs.Tramping late boat out Sun night and home boat Fri £500 to £650 depending on who you go with.
Subbie will pay near £750 for 6cards tramping but “cowboy” work!!!Sawyers pay rise started last Wed 1st Feb and supposed to pay £600+home for frigo work tramping 5cards (handy/dry/clean work with good plant) and will need a week or two to find out if true!!!

that about sums it up nicely…if its not legal then any cross channel work will be for trip dosh and flat to the mat…agencies are basically dire for poorish wages.
if its a subbie itl be an interesting experience if you normally work legal. other than that…theres only 4 fixed speed cameras that work in the entire country…1 set of average speed cameras that are only on a cpl hours a month,as soon as you cross the border nothing will matter anyway,and you will get your heart attack 10 years later than normal as its pure class here in the land that time forgot…just remember when your coming off the ferry to turn your clock back 40 years…then shortly after entering employment you will be well accustomed to the phrases,keep er lit,and your late for the boat…just look for the previous tang related posts and you will soon fit in nicely…
ps…a pair of super hamptons,ben sherman shirt,hairy chest wig and a scania jacket will usually get you a start anywhere before you open your mouth…if the answer to your question" are you looking for drivers"■■ is met with the replies,what boat can you go out on,and how long can you stay out for??..then you will have entered the love /hate occupation of your life…or not,but goodluck either way.if your driving through north antrim,then to get the full experience it may be advised to have duelling banjoes playing as you drive along…thatl get you in the right frame of mind before you hit the pub…only last week i was outside a pub there hearing a man and his woman having words,she was snottering and bubbling as he was saying to her…i dont know what your getting so worked up about…i might be divorcing you,but youl always be my sister!!!..hey
