North South Divide

Always HP sauce on sausages or bacon! Ketchup on chips! Nothing North or South about it! If you said gravy or curry on your chips then that is a Norvern idea! There are enough Norveners living down south these days! I wonder why?

Depends what you call the south & what you class as North

As think a lot of people have different views on this

I would say from left to right aberystwyth Wales, right across to Norwich, Norfolk. Anything below the line is south. But then the likes of Cornwall and Southampton now there proper south. Norfolk is a tricky one its kind of no where  not south not north

Although I bet most people would class the south anything below the midlands

Apparently, cockerknee’s fink a ‘Cob’ is a hard on, a stiffy, upright & stood to attention !

I once stopped at a butty van on the A13 coming out of London, and the old Cockney asked me straight, “Would you lyk batter on yo stick?”. . .

Batter?? your talking wet in cockney it is butta, not batter … yo, you must of got a chav not a cockney suppose you being northern do not have the intellect of us southerns to tell the differents

Squiddy:
When you buy your bacon butty, do you ask for brown sauce or red (ketchup) sauce?

In my experience, if you are north of leicester/brum you strictly ask for brown sauce. They look at you funny if you ask for ketchup … any further south of the M40 you go for the red.

Neither, I ask for tomatoes sauce!
