I saw Geordie Collis on Saturday night, And it was 50 years ago when I first met him at Smiles For Miles on the Newcastle Quayside I was delighted to meet him after all those years, Happy long gone days Eh, Old MK 5 AEC,S & Atkis, Regards Larry.
I still have a few pics to post but these are the last for the old year.
I can remember Geordie Foster when he parked his wagons at Armstrongs yard (prestwick). He had a green Scania and a Blue Volvo then i think he changed it to green i think his brother Davie drove the Volvo?
Spot on Brian Geo got the Scania brand new, Him a Davey did some of the work out of Domestos in those happy long gone days when haulage work could make a good living for owner drivers like myself, Regards Larry.
