Cheers, Archie.

Hullo Larry,
Wow! Yes there is a very good posibility that we met each other in there. I was introduced there by a friend of my Brothers, who had spent time in Kent, where my parents lived. The friends name was Whit, he also was from Hazelrigg. I can’t remember his Surname, but he lived up a road on the left just as you got into Hazelrigg. I also used to be friendly with a bloke from Wide Open, Ernie Usher. was his name, he had also met my Brother in Kent. This was all about '61,'62,'63, era. I was also introduced at the Club to a Lass, I will think of her name, Nora Armstrong, remembered , she lived in Byker in Raby Street. This was very handy as we used to get the Bus back to Town, from Hazelrigg Road End to the Haymarket, then walk up to Raby Street, all very handy for me as my ship would have been either over the river at Ranks Mill or at Spillers at the bottom of Raby Street. Sometimes a few in the Loco, and a bit true love took place too.
Cheers, Archie

Hullo Larry,
Whoops ! Scary! It was,nt me mate, I would,nt do a thing like that, me ? Never. I expect I’m barred from the Club now. I did rather expect that Nora may have passed on (R.I.P) , I was only about 22 then and she was a few years older than I was. Cheers, Archie.
What a great lot of Photos of all those old Codgers. The only one I knew by name was Kris Kristiansen. I would never have recognised him. Mind you it must be at lease a quarter of a century since I last saw him. I looks as if you all had a good time though.
Cheers, Archie. Pickering. North Yorkshire.
Archie, I will be seeing Kris tomorrow, I will mention your name to him. Regards Kev.
