it says bridge open 2200, bridge close 2230, whether it really stays open that long I’ve no idea.

If that’s right there’s going to be a massive traffic jam all round that area as it’s busy even on a Saturday night.

Dunno, not much traffic going into the City on a Saturday night at that time, there’s always London Bridge as an alternative crossing. A lot of the traffic too/from the West End goes by Waterloo Bridge onto the Strand and up via Trafalgar Square.

Rubbish is all I can say to that.

Well, I used to live in London and spent a lot of time in Central, so I know what I’m talking about. Remember it’s 2200 on a Saturday, not 1700 on a Friday. Sure there’ll be a bit of traffic but hardly gridlock. As I said there’s London Bridge a little up the river as an alternative crossing.

Well I’ve lived in London for 30 years so I know what I’m talking about. If that bridge is going to be up for half an hour on Saturday night I’ll make bloody sure I’m nowhere near it! Unless I’m getting paid that is…

Wayne, you’d better take your Hard Hat with you- in case the show ‘Brings the Roof Down’ !

Health & Safety & all that. Lol.

Lol, I know what you mean, you can imagine my reaction when I heard the story, especially as they tell the full story before mentioning which theatre it was :open_mouth:

Then they’re saying they’ve got to safety check the rest of the theatres now, hopefully the safety guys are on holiday until Monday :grimacing:

At least if the shows canceled you’ll see the bridge open - every cloud and all that

Always look on the bright side eh?? :grimacing:

In a Monty Python style…

Show was on with no problems, audience were very good which mean the show went on a little longer which meant I didn’t leave the theatre until the bridge would’ve been closed.

Never mind, there’s always next time.

Thanks for the advice guys :grimacing:

Traffic’s murder… :grimacing:
