Can you reserve a space via an app on your phone at some of the bigger truck stops ? They do that here in the US but it costs more and ■■■■■■ off other drivers off when they come in and the only spaces left are ‘reserved’ ones with no trucks in them.
I think you can do that at some snap locations but not the motorway services

It’s not a victory is it but just blatant hypocrisy. You claim to fight for the under dog by stealing a service for years but as the staff never stopped you it’s OK.
Now they have made it clear you must be staying overnight to have it included or by paying for the shower separately or even spending money on a meal you go off your rocker.

Do I wish they remained free? Yes of course, that’s commonsense isn’t it? When I stop out I’ll often just call in for a shower, but I’ll also park at them when it suits too, so I do contribute.
Do I think you should get ■■■■■■ at a company saying you’ve got to pay if you aren’t spending anything, no.
Because something has previously been free does that mean it should always be free? No.
Is it normal for people to be ■■■■■■ off that you now have to pay for something that was previously free? Yes
