On the M6 tonight I moved out to allow HGVs to join the motorway twice and both left me out in lane 2 and just matched my speed.
I also overtook 3 artics that I was only going slightly faster than. All 3 didn’t bother to back off 1 or 2 clicks to help me past and non flashed me back in (no I don’t NEED flashing in but it’s a bit of courtesy isn’t it)
Where has a bit of manners gone between truck drivers? Oh yeah I forgot there ain’t any
Rowley would you be so kind as to maybe start a drivers blog page with your m6 storys.
Even maybe do an audio book.
I feel this may be a good option for myself a reffer drivers to fall asleep better of a morning/evening.

Not at all but there are far more important things to worry about than the drivel he posts, as for the overtaking it is the overtaking drivers responsibility to get past the other vehicle so if he’s not quick enough then just sit back and relax rather than getting wound up and telling the world

Of course there are but they can be discussed elsewhere. This is a truck drivers forum and Rowleys post is truck related.
You are quite correct about the overtakers responsibility but the truck being overtaken can discourage elephant racing if they have a decent attitude.
Don’t move out in future let them join like they’re supposed to
looks like a bit of role/rule reversal when it suits then.
if your only going slightly faster,then when the shoe is on the other foot and someone manages to overtake you then your always bleating on about how little time they will save.

All the varying views and ideas. Fascinating. No wonder the roads are a shambles. 
In a situation where I’m being hung out, to avoid elephant racing, I back off a click or two, let them through on the inside and pull back in because I cant be bothered with extra hassle.
And also because I’m a hero. Except i dont feel the need to highlight it, I just get on with my life.
