maybe they would be able to explain what the reason was that they thought you were driving the vehicle at the time they stated.
You seem to have in your head that they are trying to get at you
A company like Pollocks has more to worry about then you .
The fact that you ask me what would this achieve says to me , you dont have the bottle to go and speak to them one to one and find out why they stated you were the driver.
So I guess you will carry on and let it run its course on a problem that could have been easily resolved with a chat.
Instead you want to cause as much hassle as you can.
I am afraid I find this a childish way of dealing with your problem.

again, what would that achieve? i dont need to know the reason they gave my name. i dont care why they did it. the fact is that they did give my name after they were told i wasnt driving for them that day. that is all i need to know. i have nothing to gain from speaking to them directly
Suffolk ReeferBoy:
.
As Mike C says your agency gave your name and address to Pollocks , why?
i will get an answer to that one in due course. i will be dropping in to the office to kick off this afternoon on my way to work. again, nothing to lose, im leaving soon anyway so i will be speaking to the guy in question and tearing a strip off him (assuming he is in today)

right listen carefully ,
you go and say, can you please explain why you stated I was driving at the said time,
listen to their reply,
on the basis of their reply , you respond accordingly,
after discussion you either say ,
“well thanks for clearing that up for me” or "im sorry but i will have to take this further "
and as you walk out give a limp wristed tim henman type punch to the air ,
Now that will propley take 30 mins at the most.
And afterwards you will know where you stand regarding this problem.
Although I still say you are propley to immature to deal with this problem in a adult manner.
Now in the words of the infamous Robert Knapp,
END OFF
that scenario is so not me. i am far too hot headed for that. i have shouted in companies that i do like so i would be all riled up going there and i would kick off big time since i have a reason to be outraged this time.
i have work this afternoon, i cant afford to get arrested. going to work is still top of my priorities, besides, i have to go in early to collect the evidence to defend myself against the ticket before i actually start work.
its out of my hands now anyway. i sent the form back yesterday so there is nothing more i can do other than get a copy of timesheets, security log etc to prove i wasnt driving there that day. its up to the SCP to take it further now and i have no influence over what they do so i am out of it for now
i wasnt driving for them that day.
For who then for you own
They don’t gif your name &adress out to them for the fun and take the ■■■■
the company i did work for is irrelevant but the reg is certainly not V2PSL and by the time i come home tonight, i will know exactly what time i started that day which will hopefully be to close to 00.15 for me to make it from lamberton to bathgate then on to the other client before my start time therefore undeniably proving i wasnt on the A1 at that time. there may even be CCTV at the petrol station of me if i fuelled up on my way to work as i normally do (its quieter at that time of night) or even a posting on there before i left for work.
one way or another, i wasnt driving the truck that got caught and i will prove it if needs be
i,m going to give my old boss SCOTT POLLOCK a ring today and point him in the direction of this thread.
maybe he could sort it out for you scanny.saying as you havent got the balls to front him out about it…
fill your boots. as i said, its out of my hands now anyway so it wont make any difference. the only part i can play is to give evidence if required which i will be happy to do. civil duty and all that
If you weren’t driving then fight it, which I’m certain you’re gonna do anyway by the sounds of it.
If it was me I’d fight it too and I wouldn’t be doing much running around in my own time either.
I’d write the police a letter, saying it wasn’t me and see what happened next.
carnt see the problem scanny just go into pollock,s show them ur proof and give them a copy send a copy of to the nip job done
i sent the NIP back yesterday with a covering letter. there is nothing else i can do regarding that case however, i do have something else to keep me going
data protection act 1998.
i want to know why the agency gave my details out (which is in contravention of the data protection act 1998) when they knew i wasnt driving that truck or for that company at that time and i am going to see them in a short while armed with various documentation. as there are other chaps here who also work for them, i am sure they will be interested in knowing what they have to say about all this and i will tell them later on (im going straight to work after i have seen them) to make them aware of it. if i dont get a satisfactory response, i will be giving my notice this week and making a big U turn on my feelings for them. i do my research when it comes to legal stuff. i dont like paying someone else to do things that i can do myself

normally i would do but in this case, i dont see why they should get away with it. if i dont like a company i dont work for them, simple. this lot have actually wronged me which is the reason i am responding so offensively. they started all this and the agency will also be dragged into it although how far depends on 1. the SCP investigation (if there is one) and 2. how they answer my questions today
look forward to ur reply from the agy then mate good look
So you are going to drag the agency in on this and possibly start a personal vendetta against them.
scanny77:

Yet you are still actively recruiting for them
scanny77:
drivers wanted urgently. all classes
FFS man, Pollocks contact your agency and ask for your details for a legal document. Of course they are going to supply them cos they could be charged if they don’t.
I think you’re making a mountain out of a molehill when a simple chat could have solved it all, but no. From the very start you have gone all guns blazing about getting pollocks charged for falsifying evidence or whatever.
I’m sorry but I’m still convinced there is more to this than you are letting on
having spoke to FRAZER pollock today here some of the email content.
Terry Scott has tried to register on the website so he can reply but it takes 12hours.
When the NPI arrives at Pollock they look up to see who was driving or if an agency was used. If an agency was used the NPI is forwarded to them and it is them who fill out the drivers details and return the form NOT POLLOCKS so as i thought all long it is the agency to blame here. Secondly nobody at Pollocks is aware of complaining about the time you took to complete your work. He has checked your timesheet and you arrived back at Pollocks at 0600 and the office staff dont start until 7am and very rarely see the night men but then again you do admit in early conversations that you meaningly took your time!! Drivers like you are an utter disgrace and give everybody a bad name. P.S. you beloved agency has just phoned Pollock while i was speaking toScott to say they have made a mistake and you were not driving that night…what a marvellous company!!!
my comments
perhaps mr boyle you should have checked these and other interesting fact b4 slandering a company
terry
looks like the s*** might have just hit that fan!!
Scott Pollock,
Dont really have time for all this nonsense as we very busy but for your info what was said above is correct. If a NIP comes in we check our sheets to see who was driving and then either fill out our own drivers details or if it was an agency we would forward it to them. IN this case it was an agency and we forwarded it to them. They then filled out your details when they should not have done as i agree you were not working for us that night and they should have returned the form to us or completed the form with the correct drivers name . You worked for us on Thursday from 1715hrs until 0600 Friday morning. It really would have been much simpler if you had phoned the office instead of playing little games in a chat room, rather sad really. Anyway keep up the good work and the slow work, i will let the agency know this is how you treat their customers.
For your information Pollock dont hold petty little grudges and we certainly dont try and frame people so please could you refrain from making anymore slanderous comments.
Kind Regards
