Niave? I must be

Sat queuing on my favourite trunk road yesterday, just people watching, the way ya do. To my amazement, the chap in a 04 plate Volvo sat next to me, casually opened his fuse box to put his fuse back in.

How do you know what fuse he was putting in? His radio fuse could have blown…Or any other.

I don’t think you are niaeve, but you could be jumping to the wrong conclusion.

to best of my knowledge there ain’t a fuse you can pull to do anything untoward on an 04 plate volvo, if you do pull the one for the tacho, then the truck won’t throttle up, so possibly you didn’t see what you thought you saw :unamused: :unamused: :unamused:

Yes, this I did consider, other factors did add to my conclusion. The point i am making is that because I don’t / won’t pull tricks, I assume that others don’t. I thought those days were long gone.

They probably are, maybe you did assume he was up to no good. Not everyone is a crook.

Sorry Dad.

OK then.

That’s me told. :sunglasses:

If its anything like our daf’s it’s probably for the night heater Grrr

I think it might be you have more of a suspicious mind than being niave. Like other have said you shouldn’t be able to pull a fuse that’ll just stop the limiter or tacho, or if you do it all get recorded in the ECU. (something like that, not look into it too much as it doesn’t bother me to need to overtake everybody or run over my time  )

However don’t think of your thinking as a bad thing, you could think about joining the Police and be Norfolks very own Angus. If you’re very lucky they’ll even give you a truck to play around in.

Or if its like our DAFts. (Which don’t have night heaters) it was probably the electric window fuse.

As long as your not up to no good. Crack on. Balls to what others are up to.

Not naive, he was winding on his tacho to get to Sunbilla in one hit.

Thats the only opinion I’d jump to, no energy for the rest, lol

Third contact breaker from the left on a 1986 Foden…

i’m led to believe the last m.a.n range of heavies was the same, if the key was knocked back a quarter of a turn.
or so i was told in the late 90’s

How fast were you going then . . or was it parked up

think it used to be fuse 19 for the limiter and fuse 21 for the tacho on the old f12 i used to drive,
plus with the fuse being in the center very easy access,
