News of the World

I did laugh at Matts Cartoon this morning.

Matt NOW.JPG

It’s been on Radio 4 all effin day. Even the Matt cartoon got mentioned…

I bet Radio 4 don’t mention the paltry handout the Dead Soldiers families end up getting once all the Celebs get their cut.

Nothing will change, NI will just be more careful and ā€˜The Sun’ will still be on the butty van shelf…

Yaaaay we did it, we defeated News Corp! Huzzah! The evil old walnut is even rumoured to be considering selling off his three remaining papers. Let’s hope so.

And Rebecca may be either on the dole or sat on Kelvins knee on the other biased news service :stuck_out_tongue:

And it turns out Ofcom are investigating to decide wether they are fit and proper to own the 39% of BSkyB they already own! Woo hoo

I’ve had the radio off all day today and I’ve missed it!

Incredable if true…

Maybe just presiding over the eventual collapse of NI is punishment enough? Just in time for the Enquiry to find her guilty of corruption.

Couldn’t of happened to a nicer girl.

Splendid!

A very big can of worms has been opened  how low can these corrupt ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā–  get? They are all into it upto there necks :unamused: now i know why they knew everything before the police did  Murdoch the police and polititions are looking very corrupt

I wouldn’t be surprised if Murdoch ā€œdid a Maxwell.ā€ I remember in history being told of all the once powerful people who after the crash of '29 killed themselves after finding themselves broke overnight.

ā€œFor better or for worse, our company (The News Corporation Ltd.) is a reflection of my thinking, my character, my values.ā€

Keith Rupert Murdoch

You don’t say? I do like a good quote!

That’s a good one, I’ll be using that!

I wonder if they will carve it on his headstone?

And now Les Hinton has resigned. That’s big. News Corp is in dire trouble.

I truely hope this spells the end for the influence of the Murdoch press and those who follow his style. The politicians in this Country have had to bow and scrape to Murdoch to get good press, but now they seem to feel free to maybe change the balance of power and to put in place systems to control the excesses of the press.

Press barons have come and gone before and there is no reason that the Murdoch era won’t be assigned to history.

These two wrinkly prunes are to blame for the filth the rag has printed over the years, there is only one left at the moment, until he slides off the back of his yacht.

Lots more to fall on swords yet I imagine. To use a media expression, this will go viral.

Rebekah just looks like a spelling mistake now!

And it’s a long way from being finished yet. Murdoch has ā€œapologizedā€, he should have been told to stick his ā€œapologyā€ up his ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– . His top American man has jumped ship.
Remember Conrad Black?? he was a news tycoon who thought he was invincible, aye, he got that wrong, he’s in jail in the US.
I can see a few more going before the courts before this is all over. Wait until some corrupt police officers get investigated. There’s one there who was being wined and dined by Murdoch while he was supposed to have been investigating old Rupert and his empire. :imp:
We are surrounded by corrupt people who are wealthy to start with. Politicians, Media, Police, and let’s not forget that odious Sarah (pay me half a million pounds) Ferguson, it’s a long list.

Throw them all to the sharks and be done with it  it would save a lot of time and money

Well, Well. Look how deep this goes?

Rebekah is arrested, to stop her talking to the select committee. Commentators said she may be able to decline to answer MPs’ questions, citing the ongoing police investigation.

Right up to the top of the Metropolitan Police.

Sir Paul Stephenson has resigned over his links with Neil Wallis, pretending he didn’t know what was going on or that there were no documents to suggest impropriety. Don’t give us that crap, you are the top cop in the Metropolitan police, and supposedly lead the finest police force in the world. Now we must be the laughing stock of it.

If Mr Stephenson doesn’t know what is going on under his own roof, how the hell are the police supposed to fight crime?

Edited to correct Neil Wallis spelling

They don’t and haven’t done for quite a while now.
