I truely hope this spells the end for the influence of the Murdoch press and those who follow his style. The politicians in this Country have had to bow and scrape to Murdoch to get good press, but now they seem to feel free to maybe change the balance of power and to put in place systems to control the excesses of the press.
Press barons have come and gone before and there is no reason that the Murdoch era wonāt be assigned to history.
