New rules for migrants

You’ve no chance - morons in government have previous said there’s no shortage of licence holders hence no shortage as such

Even in their publication it’s stating the issue

“Section 5.56 - While it is undoubted true that employers of lower-skilled occupations are facing genuinely difficulties in attracting a sufficient quantity of labour, the problem may be a lack of workers willing to do the jobs at the current terms and conditions rather than a shortage of workers able to do the jobs.”

In other words FO it’s your fault for not paying enough.

Bigtruck3 my point being is the fact that i love Boris for starters, and the fact that the new immigration bill is not going to change the number of migrants working in the transport industry, as for starters, 350 thousand have applied to remain here, what may make a difference is any more that want to come here to work must apply the new rules and get a visa.

I think stopping home all day should not be an option ,loafing around all day is not fair to all those who get out of bed for work and do not return until late afternoon .they should do something …anything away from front room chair and tv for the day or no benefits

There seems to be an obsession in the country about benefit cheats, while I don’t think everybody on benefits is genuine, it suits those sections of the media to divert attention away from others cheating the system, large corporations finding legal, if not moral, dodges to avoid paying all the tax they should, the extremely wealthy finding ways of not paying all their tax, or even those who become ltd companies, but by any reasonable test are really employees, so both them and their employer avoid taxes.

The government could make getting benefits even harder, but that normally effects those who the benefits were meant for not those cheating the system, or maybe we should go back to Dickensian level of state aid, that is none at all, if you fall on hard times, you can only hope for charity or fall onto the mercy of the Workhouse.

Yep benefit cheats account for 1.7% of the budget, a tiny sum which isn’t printed in the Scum or Mail or Express.

It’s actually shocking to see working class people almost hero worshipping that grotesque, vile Johnson as if he’s their saviour.

The guy wouldn’t ■■■■ on them if they were alight, and he certainly won’t “get Brexit done”

truckyboy:
Whats not to like about Boris, he gave us what 2 prime ministers before him failed to achieve. It took 3.5 years of brexit headaches and still we got nowhere. This was mainly to do with Labour, as they said at the beginning they would support a Brexit, then went against it ( hence why they lost the election ) along with all their braindead ideas that would cost £Billions !! So Boris had faith in the electorate, we had faith in Him and put him in power to deliver what we asked for…and he certainly did, and with a huge majority…well done that man. Now those complaining that their spend…spend…spend party didnt win the election, are possibly the ones on a low wage or minimum wage, or ltd and maybe zero hour contracts and believe unions are the answer to their prayers, as a collective they hopefully could sway their bosses to give a bit more, unions are finished, maggie saw to that, good job too, she also left a legacy that council tenants could get on the property ladder…and many of us did, no excuse for others not have taken advantage, was great for me, now i have 2 homes, 2 mercs, and a decent pension too, but all paid for with hard work and sacrifices.
Another reason we voted was Immigration, and now we have new rules coming into play…an immigrant must speak the language, must have a job to go to that pays a minimum £25 grand, of course there are exemptions such as Care workers, the NHS in general, and seasonal workers, there are many arguments about whether our own scroungers should be eligible, of course they should, but the benefit system pays more, so my plan would be to make them work or lose the benefits, what they earn whilst working, would be topped up to meet what they need, or had before, but would give them a work ethic, and self worth. Then we have those already here, who cannot or will not speak our language, yet fully understand the benefits to be had, ok some maybe female raising kids, so if the kids are old enough, put them to work as well, and pay for nursery/child care, but we have to show those on benefits that they dont come without cost, if you are ill, or made redundant or disabled, then there are or should be exemptions, but when i see my local herberts, drinking, smoking, drugged up and of an age where they should be working, then force them to work, or take away the benefits, and in some cases, sterilise em. Watched a prog this week where 3 generations are on benefits, and saying its not enough to live on yet get thousands per month to pay for their smoking and drinks, and of course debts, which aint our problem as tax payers. March on Boris, your doing a great job.

Well said that man. Im one of Maggies children and at the age of 48 my mortgage is payed off. Of course it involved hard work and a lot of sacrifices which is what I dont see in the feckless. My eldest is 24 and has started his married life as a homeowner and son number 2 is about to buy his house.

My peers were all driving new cars and ■■■■■■■ their money up the wall instead of saving and investing…yet they are the ones proclaiming Boris is the devil in disguise!
Tough luck you had your chance and now im sitting back rubbing my hands at the thought that finally the wages are soon to increase to the rates they should have been untill that tossa Blair opened the floodgates!!

Where on earth do you get the idea that wages are going to rise?

You believe Johnson and ■■■■■■■■ would actively implement a policy which would make the working class better off?

I’ve got some snake oil and magic beans, perhaps you’d like to buy some?

Supply and demand …the government has already said there is NO SHORTAGE of HGV drivers, just poorly paid positions that nobody wants to fill.
So HGV driving will not be on the skills list and therefore Slobodon from flipflopistan will not be allowed entry into this some to be Great island nation again.

Isn’t casual racism great?

Your wages won’t rise, Brexit wasn’t an ideology to make wages rise for the average worker.

The point is…now they’re accountable

And the old “I have a black friend” is the biggest joke of the lot.

You’ve won no arguments, racist rants about what you “think” will happen when you have zero evidence doesn’t make you a winner…

Hmmmm nope still dont see a racist rant. As far as im aware an inhabitant of Flipflopistan is not a race. Keep it up Corbyn lover im loving it!

Quite correct. As you cleverly point out flipflopistan isn’t a race so you cant be racist on that front.

You could be called xenophobic though…

I’ve got no interest in the argument, but I do like to throw the odd correction in
