The cultures of the middle and far East were more advanced than ours in fields such as medicine, philosophy, science, language centuries before we were “introducing much of the modern technology to the world”
Yes for commercial advantage & to keep the french & spanish & dutch out. I think we did a very good job with the empire and alot of countries are better of for it being there and run by us rarther than the other countries. We would not have won the world wars without it.
Everything is relative, as you say eastern cultures were more advanced in our dark ages & previous. But whereas we moved on. ie from killing with TNT (invented by the chineese) to nuclear (invented by us) or from thinking the world was flat to knowing it is round, the eastern cultures have just stood still. Their atitudes are frankly discusting & I have no qualms about saying that. There is no reason for the torture & degrading treatment suffered by the people of most eastern countries. It is worse that most people excuse this by saying its their culture, so what, it was ours aswell, but we dont do it anymore (unfortunately, bring back the death penalty.) I also find the catholic religion an abomination in this day and age with their attitude on sexuallity & contriception. but I guess people are free to choose that lifestyle.

Kind of sad don’t you think that children do not instinctively hate, they have to learn that hatred. Those who would teach such hatred really do deserve contempt for taking the “easier to break than build” path. Thats the path preached by Bulldog and English Jock in this thread who choose to identify themselves as British but in my eyes are actually BRUTISH
If that last paragraph breaks the posting rules I apologise for posting it but not at all for the sentiment contained within.
Instinctively hate. Yes children do, they form packs and dislike ones that are not in their pack. Afterall how else do children end up being bullied & why its the ones with differences the ones that are bullied. If children didnt have the basic instinck to hate there would be good odds that a average persentage of bullied children would be just normal or average. (Im not in anyway sujesting children are bullied because they deserve it or in anyway its ok for it to happen.)

But i know I’m right in what I say, that GREAT Britain is slowly turning into one great big asylum centre and the pc mob - many on here - are letting our heritage, history and everything good about this country, erode away, never again to return. And unless people like me start to shout for our rights as British people in Britain, well, kiss goodbye to what my father, my great grandfather and his grandfather fought to keep.

But i know I’m right in what I say, that GREAT Britain is slowly turning into one great big asylum centre and the pc mob - many on here - are letting our heritage, history and everything good about this country, erode away, never again to return. And unless people like me start to shout for our rights as British people in Britain, well, kiss goodbye to what my father, my great grandfather and his grandfather fought to keep.

I dont have a problem with anyone,regardless of where they come from.
I do a lot of crain work to sites all over the place,english people stand there with their arms folded asking for the imposable watching and waiting for you to break something.
So called imagrant, coloured ,non engish people,will get up on the truck,do the straps,and genraly bend over backwards to help me
As far as I am concered these folk are more then welcome,they are denying or taking no bodies job,but they are doing a lot of jobs that no body wants to do.
The NHS would not funtion without its mass army of foreigen workers.

Ok you win guys. Those of you that are so up each others rear ends (most of you - not all) have not seen the light for so long now that you have forgot about the real world. Let whats going on carry on. You’ll find that the main race here in GB in 10 or 15 yrs is Asian or African. You and me will be the minority and will have no say whatsoever. Hopefully I’ll be gone by then. But I am very worried about my kids.
