XTruckerlady, yes they can prove it if they still have my email application. Jakey, I’m one of the spare drivers so I can be second man, drivers’ mate or lone driver. They rotate most drivers so the same blokes don’t get stuck with London all the time (only half the fleet are LEZ compliant). Yes Lightning, it is Matthews from Shipton. Lovely place to work.

There used to be a lot of handball on that flour delivering malarky ! Plenty of up and down ladders at bakerys is this still part of the job ?
Its like the Removals , bloody hard work but great line of work if you can keep up the pace , my old dad was still doing removals in his late seventies and was still dropping boxes off and doing quotes in his late eighties , stopped helping us when he was 86 and just went down hill untill last year at 88 got cancer and passed away .
With that I am never going to stop unless I just cant get in any more .

I’ve not done ladders but still plenty of handball. The Axor had no tailgate, I think we handballed about 7t today. Done 15 hours today (a first for me). Not bad for first week, done South Wales, North London, Manchester and Bristol tomorrow.

what sort of jobDelivering flour from a family run mill in the Cotswolds. We go all over UK, was going to shadow a driver for a few days but they’re letting me loose into Wales on Monday. Will need to get a sleeping bag as we do Cornwall and Scotland. Nice Daf CF 6wheel curtainsiders (newer ones are High Roofs).
