Nice one… How many drops would you typically have in a day?
Anything between 10 to 25 drops it’s ment to be hard work but I’m not work shy so all good because the money is fantastic

Boom tish
Bonus related pay structure !
Milage.load.item.attendance.damage.fuel use.drop number. All multiplied to make up your guaranteed minimum first , IF you go over guaranteed minium then you will get difference paid on top !
You are going to have to work ■■■■ hard to hit £30k
Usually job & finish but you are out until last drop is done , could be long hours , also dont expect the back to be loaded in any order , it will just be piled on any old how, are you on frozen ? If so don’t let that temp rise when your sorting a drop in the back!
Usual brakes job promise normally 35+ drops if your freezer temp goes above -18 have to wait till its lower than -18 ball ache if your in a rush and customers want a temperature printout to prove freezer temp.
Double check cash your given when you cash up at the depot if your short you have to put the cash difference yourself.

It’s the 21st century why can’t these companies have accounts, I wouldn’t want to be driving round with £100’s on me.
well done it getting your new job, i worked for brakes out of bilsthorpe, running around nottm city center like a mad man, loaders just chucked stuff anywhere, temp always rising, customers all wanting deliverys before 10 am. my round was probably the worse one in all fairness, the long term lads got the good rounds with all the bonus jobs. hope you get a decent round with the milage and item bonus then you will be ok
I used to work for Brakes in Thorpe, its hard work, youll certainly be kept fit goin up an down stairs all day long, they certainly get their pound of flesh out of ya
youll have more drops than jordans nicks and arms like popeye but stick at it learn to say no and dont be afraid to ask for help did some agency with them theres some horror storys but theres a lot worse jobs
Sounds like hard work to me… I’m used to 2 drops at a push!
Only thing I do in the back is take the bars off…
I used to work at Brakes in South Elmsall on class 2 after I passed my test on agency. The truck was loaded with all the stuff in boxes on 2 shelves 1 on either side and you had to make the orders up off the order sheets when you got to the drops and you had a sack barrow to take the stuff in.
I did Helmsley and Pickering and that area Tues and Thurs and Wakefield Mon,Wed and Fri. You routed the drops yourself first thing in the morning and it was job and knock. I had a kid working with me who hadn’t passed his test yet so had a good crack with him, job was hard work but I enjoyed it and a few of the places would give you a bacon sarnie and a cuppa for nouwt after you had delivered their stuff.
We delivered to pubs, cafés, sarnie shops, old folks homes, nut house next to pinderfields hospital and Wakefield prision
They asked me if I wanted a job and I would’ve taken it but they didn’t have any class 1 work which was what I wanted to do.
I bet the OP, Top2tow, is really pleased that he shared his good news with everyone…talk about bringing a lad down to Earth with a bump!
Pete.
All good mate
Is it a drivers job or a labour with a license and that’s why they pay well
