New job time (again!)

Darkside:
You are paranoid mate…

I was only asking a question. Not starting a fight.

So below you tell me how little I know about a traffic office, you offer nothing to debate or rebut, and I’m the one who’s paranoid? :open_mouth:

Darkside:

It’s ironic that a driver who puts a few extra clicks on the motor and wastes a bit of the company time, gets grabbed by the nuts and told how loud to sequel by the firm. Yet a ■■■■ poor planner (other planners are available) can send a driver here there and everywhere, ■■■■■■■ the company’s money up the wall without a single comeback it seems…

How little you know about working in a traffic office…

To be honest I thought I said it all here. You suggested planners don’t get pressure to perform on them, and I said ‘How little you know about working in a traffic office…’

Which was my way of saying planners DO get pressure put on them to perform.

Unfortunately you took it in a different way to how it was meant.

Darkside:
I don’t agree with much you say

I’ve ‘‘done myself a favour’’ and took Stevieboy’s ‘‘advice’’…so I don’t think that you are brainwashed.

Yeh 10 pages!
Congratulations to the big Drama Queen that is EagerBeaver, looking forward to the next thread in three months time when he has yet another hissy fit and decides that the new firm is not worthy of his god like presence!!

Well I’m not psychic mate, and the tone has been pretty much set on this thread!

I’m sure they do have pressure, and as I said in my initial post, I was only referring to the ■■■■ poor ones, as I also said ‘others were also available’. Yes mistakes do get made, and in no way am I saying every wasted journey is down to ■■■■ poor, lazy or incompetent planning. Crap happen, and we all know and accept that… But there is also a percentage that are easily avoidable, and again as I said, these still happen even though the driver has tried to step in and help. These are the ones that I’m referring too, and I bet you that the planner does his or her level best to sweep their ■■■■-ups under the carpet, as they are probably in a position to easily do so. The driver doesn’t have this luxury, and human nature being what it is  I bet a lot of planners can’t wait to tell tales and make others look crap to take the heat/focus off them.

That’s my point!

P.S. Just had a mooch over your early posts. Do you work in the office at Downton’s?

If the planner’s got a stay at home missus go and park outside his gaff for half an hour every day.

More twists and turns than a bag of anglers worms…

Someone should be looking at the film rights.

emily blunt can play eb…cos she’s just brill at everything she does

del trotter:
…A company the size of Downton would be pretty naive if they didn’t have a system for monitoring mentions of them on social media, I very much doubt anybody emailed them they probably found the idiot for themselves, breach of social media policy to add to the other breaches, what a moron he truly is.

…And how long will it take for this to follow him to the new company, and the next and the next, if I was EB I would be asking the mods to hit the delete button on this whole thread.

That depends on who, or how many, actually know who he is, and how many of them are, …or which one… is a complete wonker doesn’t it mate :bulb:

Downtons employs a lot of people most of who are probably having a good giggle at this thread, people talk and it would only take one with a bit of a grudge - the office ‘■■■■■■■■■■’ he mentioned early on in the thread for instance, finding out his new place of work isn’t going to be difficult, especially if it’s local, and where does the office need to send your P45 Mr EB?

Well when I employed drivers I used to take into account any opinions off previous employers, keep an open mind and after a couple of weeks or so form my own opinion.

He may be like me, if I am treated fairly to good I am the model employee giving 101%, if I am treated like a ■■■■ I behave like a ■■■■ then leave, so a reference from either type of firm, good or bad, would be meaningless.

I see what you mean now. Transport is not a good place to be. Drivers, warehouse staff, planners etc are not getting their worth. When you see the capital ■■■■■■■ with kit, you have to say the bosses aren’t getting a decent return. This makes it all high pressure, and I guess a blame culture can grow.

I do work in a Traffic Office but not at Downton mate.

Luckily for me 123 buttsniff I am not you. And if anyone wants to contact my new employer they are free to

Unlike you chap, I don’t reek of fear, and won’t be asking the mods to delete anything. If anything, I think the mods have pulled a blinder by letting this one run.

Half of the worms have shown themselves, and it won’t take long to figure out a few more.

If you look up a little, it says BY DRIVERS. FOR DRIVERS. And I would be the first to pull over and help a fellow driver. I will also tell other drivers my experiences of the firms that employ me. And I will continue to provide a little drama to hopefully do my little bit to keep TNUK an entertaining read for our fellow Brothers/Sisters who may get a little bored whilst tramping or bored out of their skulls waiting to be tipped.

PS…told you it would do 10 pages Rob  Come on weasels, show yourselves…come out, come out wherever you are…

And that moves us on nicely to our friend ’ Darkside ’ who I asked on page 3 of this thread if he/she wanted to reveal who they worked for. Do you not think I knew already

See, the problem is with your search history. Every CMD thread you have commented on. You have mentioned that there isn’t much work in Gloucester. You have commented on office work, and also posted on a Keedwell’s thread.

You couldn’t have made it more obvious if you tried. You have even mentioned management payback for post’s which you could deem offensive. I wonder…are YOU the creep who has squealed?? But let’s face it…you haven’t even got the backbone to admit you work for Downton’s have you?? PMSL

Wouldn’t think its done by a person, more like an program that looks for certain keywords.

We have a system at work that does this, we plug in the company name, a few acronyms people use, some of the nicknames, etc. and it’s amazing what comes out.

Never speak ill of your company online, they will find it, store it away, and use it if necessary! :unamused:

yawn. :unamused: brainwashed little boys toys. :open_mouth:

He must work for them always jumping to there defence,

think this thread has got a bit stupid now , I like a laugh more than most , but doesn’t sit well with me accusing folks of being grasses etc , all getting a bit playgroundish now :unamused:

This is thread bloody brilliant

We’re looking at this all wrong Lads/lasses,
could we not use EBs “easy come easy go” work ethics to our advantage??

Get Trucknet owners to sponsor him as our “drivers rep” and get a job (over so many WEEKS[emoji28] ) round every trucking outfit in the country and let us know the craic as an “inside job”!!![emoji6]
