New Addington,croydon

Don’t suppose anyone knows the area?
Got a drop on chertsey cresent.
Currently parked in dunstable…and will be in a flatbed artic

Me

Don’t know the road specifically, but New Addington isn’t that bad. I would come up the A23 from the M25. Then right on the A22 in Purley under the bridge then a sharp left right. Then follow it up the hill that will take you to New Addington.

That’s londinium, do you feel safe.

Shouldn’t that be a sharp left, onto downs ct road?

Edit
Ah yes sharp left then right.

I know New Addington quite well, the main roads are truck friendly, but residential roads aren’t truck friendly, just looked at the road you want on the Gmap and it looks quite tight with parked cars, its residential.

As for getting there from Dunstabubble, I’d go M1, M25 anti, M23/A23 twds Croydon, at Purley A232 twds Addiscommbe /W.Wickham then the A212 twds Addington

I’ll bet my bottom dollar, they’ve knocked the leisure centre down…and they’re building a new one.

That was my initial thought chester

Yeah that’s do-able too, could be better/shorter, in fact looking at it on the map 100% better M1, M25 clock, over bridge exit J4
A21 twds Bromley, at Farnborough lights, tl A232 twds W/Wickham Croydon, through Hayes Common, down steep hill to roundabout tl onto Addington Road twds Addington and follow map

Agreed then

take it easy down the hill from Hayes common after you pass the Met Police sports ground on the right going to that roundabout before you turn left it is quite tight

Agreed, expect to meet a bus or an artic on the bends. This is a busy road which is a route used by supermarket vehicles to reach various shops. Hayes Common also has traffic light cameras.

That was my first thought when I read it Pierrot. It’s a good way, probably the best way. But be prepared to breathe in if there’s a wagon coming up as you drop down to Coney Hall.
