Must admit it does my head in like your mrs when I’m driving the car,when I’m in the truck I just knock it down a click or two to get the truck overtaking past and on there way,looses me seconds I’d guess,not worth worrying about,

Why should the first driver back off, for all you know he might have had a line of lorries/cars behind him in lane 1 so when he knocks it down a notch or two then all the other lorries/cars then try to overtake him because he’s seen to be slowing down and then all hell breaks loose.
And?
Once driver one backs off, driver two then is clear to overtake thus leaving lane 2 free for drivers to overtake. By going the same speed all you have is a rolling road block.

So the speed limit is 50 mph… both trucks were doing 56 so they were speeding, why the hell was she trying to overtake them?? surely she was speeding too.

I was on the M1 near Brisbane about five years ago in my car. The limit’s 100Km/h and I was doing 190. Well this prick in a truck wouldn’t let me overtake, I think I should have reported him, what do you think Aj165 ? I only ask cos it’s still winding me up. Absolutely ruined my life it has.

The fact remains that everyone was speeding… therefore surely it is a blessing that no-one was killed or hurt.

Thats a bit dramatic… If folk cant control a vehicle at 56 mph on a duel carriageway then they need their licence tearing up.
personally i think both trucks performed admirably car drivers cut us up day in day out! they dive in gaps we have left so we can react safely, force us to take drastic action the more we hold car drivers up the better
