Ok lads same old story,had a phone call the other day from a upset wife saying that a driver on the A34 Oxford took about 10 mins to pass another truck both flat out at 90kmh cos one wouldn’t let the other one in both uk trucks the tail back was getting longer anyway when my wife got passed she gave a little beep on the horn just to say yeh well done then the front lorry that just got in gave my wife the big one finger salute !!! So I like to say thanks Idiot your the one that’s in the wrong it’s a 50mph speed limit not 56 and with that can all drivers please let one over take each other so we can all get on Soz rant over

Clearly one of our least intelligent truck drivers out there. I’d have given a wave of apology… i doubt it was ten minutes but if so thats a clear lack of judgement and have abandoned it long before.
Besides, how did it effect your wifes day? Not at all I imagine.

Why should the first driver back off, for all you know he might have had a line of lorries/cars behind him in lane 1 so when he knocks it down a notch or two then all the other lorries/cars then try to overtake him because he’s seen to be slowing down and then all hell breaks loose.

The truck driver might have thought she was a mobile ■■■ worker and was annoyed that she thought he was game?

Well tell your wife a horn isnt for entertainment purposes and as already stated a horn is for emergencies to make people aware of your presence as for speeds they were doing get over it ffs why was she trying to speed with your daughter in the car

So I take it your truck is faster than mine so there I bet you was on the 34 that afternoon from botley all the way to the m40 split you still can’t answer a straight question why not people in and stick to the speed limits by the way my daughter is 19 I personally don’t give a ■■■■ but just think about other people politeness cost nothing and goes a long way
