DON’T GIVE UP! I can guarantee you will regret it! If you had your assessment with Atkins I can understand the issues with the gears (I’ve been there remember). It’s hard enough as it is learning to drive a lorry what with the size difference and differant driving lines etc without worrying about the gears as well, you’re bound to smack some curbs. If its the gears your worrying about I strongly recommend you train with (assuming you haven’t paid Atkins) mcdowell’s. it’s a lovely semi automatic.

Just the thought of climbing into a cab again sends shivers down my spine, I didn’t get to choose which company as I am doing it through the jobcentre, but I think I will ring them to cancel and let someone else have a chance.
