My First Night Out! (Sort of)

8wheels:
When is this photo diary going to happen?

you could start tonight with some pictures of your night out because apparently.

Muckaway:
The bird running the place had a cracking set of norks

We need to verify such matters.

I did start “Muckaways’ Scrapbook” but it got dumped in the photo forum :unamused: It was wuite popular in terms of views whilst on the PD Forum.

commonrail:
what`s for tea

Jacket Spud with Chicken Curry. Bottle of Hobgoblin ale. Nextdoor’s brought a scaffolding wagon home tonight and neighbour on the other side’s parked his roofers van beside my lorry. I wonder how long before someone complains about this “truckstop on the green”?

Two more of our drivers live on estates either side of where I live and they’ll take their lorries home at breaktime. One of them was on premix with me yesterday and I overtook him as he was cycling home…he’d done 10 loads, I was on my 11th…bonus bonus.

I’m a bit confused, why would you want to take the Wagon home, its a tipper isnt it ■■ and if someone breaks into it, trouble

I think It would be more prudent to get them to wait for you or give you a set of spare keys, get the thing dropped off and off your responsibility list.

I’ve posted this several times before; We used to have keys then a lot of diesel got nicked and we were (unofficially) blamed by certain quarry staff even though they’d not secured the tank in the first place. They wont give us keys anymore, but we have to go “on carpet” now to explain why we wont/can’t do late loads so I do what I’m asked, get overtime and let the quarry staff explain why they’ve locked one of the drivers out.

no matter what you post on this forum somebody will slate you or tell you you’re wrong usualy in direct contravention of earlier post they’ve made :unamused: dont worry bout it muckaway do what you feel is right an bollox to them that think its wrong :grimacing:
