Hi Pete 2402.I have just seen this post.I was one of the drivers that was together with Pat on that trip.We met up at Kapic,picked Phil up in Damascus and ran through Syria,Jordan and Saudi until we diverged along the tapline as they were going to Kuwait and we were going to Riyhad.

That’s a very old address I’m afraid. They moved to Surrey House in the '90s from what I remember and in any case TRUCK magazine doesn’t exist any more. Your best bet is to work out what edition it came from and google it to see if its for sale on ebay or lokicollectables.com. Robert

Robert,I’m not sure about your info as i contacted then after i moved up here to Lappland,and that was 6yrs ago.I know that Truck no longer exists but Village Publishing had all the back copies and were able to make a copy of the article for me.The guy’s name was Andy Salter at that time.Mike
