Ohh good luck, just keep calm I’m sure u will pass, u know wat to expect this time [emoji106]
I’m trying to stay relaxed about it all but not be complacent that I’ll walk it this time. Thin line between confidence and arrogance haha
Good Luck Nick - I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you
Tracey at Peter Smythe is now officially my favourite person
… so the fella (me) who got the extra tests and then asked Tracey to give you one of them doesn’t matter then!!!
Nice to know where I am in the pecking order!! LOL
Seriously, all the very best for Saturday.
Pete
I had a sneaking suspicion you were behind Peter haha!
Not quite sure how you managed to get the extra tests off of the DVSA but it is very much appreciated!
Best of luck Nick!
And personally, I prefer Tracey!
Well, unless I’m speaking to Pete that is!
Petes Awesome, Tracey is too, can’t forget Rosina either, and well Infact, I can’t say a bad word about anybody there!
Trying not to think about it all too much, I’ve got a feeling I’m going to overthink it all. I know how to do it, just need to do it now!
4 days to go and counting …
What’s this the countdown to failure?! Lol
Well test take 2 tomorrow. Trying not to think about it too much as I know I could drive and do everything that was asked of me, just didn’t do it quite right haha
Hopefully this time tomorrow I will have give my licence over to the examiner to go to Swansea lol

Best of luck Nick, I’m sure you’ll soon be driving a VAN like mine!
Think we should rename you berlingo boy lol
Good luck for tomoz mate sure you will smach it how did u do on mod 4 and how did you find it
Cheers Sam,
I got 100% on my Mod 4. Had 2 1/2 hours training before hand where in a group of 6 we went through all of the questions we could get asked and all of the answers. We also had a play with the restraining trolley ( oo err Mrs!) so that everyone knew how to use everything, and to leave the ■■■■ rope alone! Haha
Test day came and I found it pleasantly simple and straightforward. The day before we had been told the examiner was a little more relaxed than a driving test and I found this to be the case. They want you to do well and don’t be surprised if they ask if you want to add anything else! If they do it means you’ve missed something haha!
All in the test took about 20 mins and was a doddle. You definitely be asked to describe how you would prevent illegal drug trafficking or people stowing away and you will be asked to show how you would perform a daily check. Guaranteed. Another key point is show them as much as you can rather than just saying what you would do, they want to see you do it! I think I shocked my examiner when I got down on the floor to check the chassis rails for folk!
Ha ha lol can’t do mine till the 18th of Nov but I don’t like speaking I get really tounge tied when some one ask me to explain things to them well with people I don’t no sure I’ll be fine well I’ll have to be but really good look for tomoz I’ll be looking out for your you to tell us you have passed
Passed
Got 5, very stupid minors! Nudged a Kurb, had a crap meeting with a van and fluffed some gears and didn’t get the park brake on fast enough.
Absolutely delighted, made my day seeing Peter stood there with a Yorker bar at the end!
Like Beezle I am now officially a van driver! Now just need to find a van to drive!
Congrats pal well done
Nice one mate!
Especially pleased for you, as like me, you also seem to be a bit of a bellend VAN driver!
You gotta put emphasis on the VAN part mate, you don’t want the smoking monkey thinking he can slap you with it!
Now you have to go the whole hog and get the “agency scum” label!
Which is probably where you’ll get the quickest route into a VAN…
Sign up with a few all in one day, and remember to take all your paperwork and details of references!
Then enjoy them bigging up a crap job, focusing on the money and not the realities of the work…
Not that i’m knocking agencies, as they are a great start for a newbie, and let’s say you did have a little scrape, you’ll probably only be there short term… Once you have a few months, you’ll have a lot better options to look elsewhere!
You might even get an offer to go permanent where you’re placed…
Best of luck Berlingo Boy!!!
I prefer ■■■■ in a van thank you very much berlingo basher!
I’ll be hitting the agencies next week to get a feel, even though my cards won’t be back for at least a week no doubt lol I’ve also got a local firm I can go and speak to about tippers and skip wagons, although I doubt they will take a ■■■■ up like me on lol
It was painful getting 5 minors but the girlie bar at the end made up for it, and Pete let me set in big beauty so I felt like a big boy, as no doubt I’ll fail that test about 5 times!
Nice one fella been following your posts with interest, my medical is booked in Dec and I’m signed up with Peter as well…pleased for ya mate…
