Moving into my new lorry later!

Fat Controller:
Ah! But what does Bertie think of it? Does he approve?

Bertie thinks it’s crap. Keeps muttering ‘its no ERF Olympic’ and that ‘ERFs are proper mens wagons and that an FH16 is a poncy poofwagon’. I don’t think he likes it

Just tell him ERF cabs were made with recycled Lego heads and that’ll shut him up.

Comment of the year so far…

Is that your depot on Severn Beach, behind Downtons.
Saw a few of your trucks in there yesterday.

Looking good Luke , nice truck . My KW is being repaired again so I’m currently in a 2015 mid roof VN 680 i-shift , so nice after the Kenworth crap . New Volvo ordered for delivery in the fall , as you say "good times ".

That’s interesting. I thought Kenworths are supposed to be the dogs bo locks! Is it like Scanias over here? Don’t live up to the hype?!

Does this mean he’s now persona non grata like Messrs Gove & Osborne. Or, to put it another way, are you going to sack him?

VIRGINS

Seen three bulls this week it’s amazing how you notice things after your aware of them :open_mouth:
2 nice scanias and nice but older Volvo. Am I right in thinking mr bull is fleet proud?

Wish my gaffer was :frowning: apparently they used to be but not so much now since a senior manager left a few years ago.

There are two Mr Bulls (twin brothers) and yes they certainly are fleet proud. The oldies are still tidy and working every day, sometimes double shifted. Relative newcomers to the purchase of brand new lorries but since their first 3/4 years ago they’ve bought lots, Volvo & to a lesser extent Scania. I work for Richard doing a bit of everything. I didn’t realise how much I missed having my own lorry, but she’s all set up now ready for any eventuality, ONWARD

I know many of you will think I’m sad sad man but I’ve fallen in love with this lorry! It really is so well specced and looks so perfect without being covered in tacky bourbals and lights

The old school petes and kw may look the part but the us spec volvo is light years ahead to drive.
They have European refinement where the yank iron is like a erf

Just seen the wagon heading south M5 with a Tesco urban in tow gave a flash but alas not Luke driving it was some other geezer but it looked good.

Might be a stupid question, but why is your beast a door length longer than the mere Tesco Mercs? Or are you not quite on the bay?

Nice looking rig by the way.
