module 2 ????

what is module 2 case study i have a disc to learn off but its only 300 odd pages of infomation is it not a multi choice questions??

Hi. Mate, mod 2 is Everything you Learnt in your theory test but thrown into case studies. There is a few " click where you think" is on the truck.

Module 2 was exactly the same as the Multiple Choice but it was along side a massive story. It took me about 15-20 mins to complete it.
I think I half read one case study to get the weight of the birds truck for the MAM question.

my advice is to learn for multiple choice thoroughly and it will all fall into place. Additional learning should be on tacho and driving regs and a quick read up on the various types of freight, i.e bulk, combined, groupage ( cant remember others) and you will nail it.

I wouldn’t worry about it.
If you passed the theory test and have the common sense of a giraffe, you will be fine.

I was flapping about the mod 2 cause I couldn’t find any information on it.
Looked on net for a week trying find information and couldn’t find nothing.
Went and done test and it was a bit of a waste of time to be honest.

Same as mod 4.
Don’t worry it’s piece of ■■■■ aswell.

Pretty much to echo what Themoocher said, as long as you have studied for your theory you will be fine, good luck.

ok thankyou for the feeback get this out the way and try and find weekend work round my full time job untill i get my class one shame this job is holding me back as i work for an agency and have to recuit my holiday pain in the arse if u ask me

I don’t know if you relies this mate.
You can’t work all week 9-5 then drive trucks on an sat and sun.
It will ■■■■ your weekly rest up.

yeah i understand i should be able work maybe the saturday and it wont br every sat due to the nature of work i do because its a 3 shift pattern

I’ve just passed my cat C test, and now waiting on getting my licence back so I can book my mod 2 & 4 - pain in the backside given that I’m eager to get out there and find some work.

Does anybody know if you can rent a cat C sized truck, without having a CPC card? Parent’s are moving to Spain and we were considering renting out a DAF CF sized truck to transport stuff from UK t Spain, just not sure if I’ll need a CPC card to do that?

No,
You don’t need a cpc for driving for personal.
Such as house moves.

I believe you won’t need Cpc as it’s private use

Am I also right in thinking tacho doesn’t apply either

No tacho either.
Just put foot down n drive.

Not sure about the tachograph, I would have assumed that you would need one, because despite the fact you’re driving for private use, surely you wouldn’t be allowed to drive one tired, exceeding hours?

Good news about not needing my CPC to rent a truck out, because if my licence does take 3 weeks to get back, it’ll be cutting my time close with sitting my mod 2 and helping my parents move to Spain. Plan B was to rent out a luton van, but if I don’t need a CPC, we’ll go for the Cat C.

Cheers Noney!

So basically I just turn up with my licence?

Not sure what an “o” licence is!

Its an “operaters license” companys need them to run lorrys for the carrying of goods. Best bet is to find somewhere to rent one and ring tem uo and ask them the questions.

No.
It’s not commercial or making profit.
Your carrying your on goods on an removal.
You don’t need anything.
