MODEL TRUCKS

wirralpete:
james the seddon was bought from here www.kitformservices.com. look on the left hand side and click on tq range. cab started off as a 401 sleeper, just a case of cutting it down to a day cab, squaring off the wings and making a 400 series grill, think the seddon kit has sold out though howard may be producing another batch. you would also need a donor kit (italeri/revell fh12). hope this helps mate…pete

Just tried the link didnt work so when your browser opens and says not found remove the last ./ and it’ll work or try this if i did it right
kitformservices.com
Added yep this one works

Gibsa, your model is looking really great, keep up the good work, glad to see you,ve got the table well covered, just don,t try to cut anything on there, craft knives are very very sharp and seem attracted to dining room tables!!!,I’ve got the credit card bill to prove it!
There are quite a few truck model clubs on Yahoo, with lots of info and help such as Dutch model truck club (in english) and links on there to lots of other helpful sites such as KFS send them an E=mail if you have a problem,Howard is very helpful,he also builds models featured in Truck Model World.
I think if I’d built models instead of researching it all on here I’d have a bigger fleet than 3units and 3 trailers.
All the best with your models and keep posting pics of your progress,
thanks and regards derek

HI Giblsa, keep up the good work, we all have to start somewhere and anyway i have not built a proper model for 3 years,so i should kick my arse in to gear.Paul

A few 1:50 scale models i made:

DAF 95 FTG

DAF 3200 6x4

DAF 2200 Single spine body:

DAF 3300 6x2 (Still under construction)

DAF 3200 6x4

Hi Bowtie
Is the 3200 a teama/liontoys ,ive got some roll on /off bulk skips that would suit that ,Do you know where i could purchase one

I’ve made the DAF 3200 from a DAF 2800 with self made grille and decals cut and fitted from a 2800 ATI and 3300 ATI.

BBCode had been disabled in your post.

The tick boxes are below the text box you type in, 2nd one down.

Hi Guys, some good pics and great models on here now,so I’ll add a few,the blue Daf I started about 20 years ago,get nowhere when you’re too hasty.
I don’t know why ,but the more pics I take the worse they come out,it does make my models look better but doesn’t solve the problem, they look as if they were taken by an aged alcoholic (which I’m not, yet) any advice would be appreciated.
One wee tip I was given, when posting pics use preview to look at your pics before submitting them, then you can alter anything, such as making sure disable BBCode isn’t ticked before you try to submit, onto the pics.
regards derek
