and this is the part built 4 series kit that i stretched and added a twinsteer axle which is now going to be the vehicle i’m driving with a twist

Blimey, I thought I was the only one afflicted with the bug ! I have about 200 + 1/87 mainly Herpa models on a diarama of a haulage yard, what the Germans call fiktive spedition. When I get 5 minutes I’ll post some pic’s if anybody’s interested.please do - would love to see them, only got one of mine on here, in the davies thread, about page 5 iirc

yeah a few, they didnt do very well with the house move 3 years ago, i’ll see what survived and worth a picture yes mate, i will be after some so that email will come in handy.
goaty ,it’s easy isn’t it,when you’ve done it,if you use preview instead of submit when you’ve done your post it will show what your post will lok like and you can alter it before you submit,I found that a great help.

What a fantastic collection, what scale are they in? (or did you say earlier) and how long have you been collecting? I can’t wait to show this page to my missus tonight, as I only have about 250 models in all for my scenic diorama, that’s lorries, cars, quarry plant etc. and she is ready to have me taken away. She thinks I am the only one that would want to do this and tells me never to mention it to anyone!!. No more will I skulk about in my loft only when the house is empty!

I think it was Truckfest’98. There was a chap called John (can’t remember his surname) who had a massive 1/87 diarama in the cattleshed model show. I was absolutley fascinated by the detail or as my missus called me a big kid ! I bought 2 herpa models later from a model stand at the show and it kinda went downhill from there .

Absolutley newmercman, I also wrap myself in clingfilm and eat Mars bars whilst doing so !
As for the Yard bloke, he’s been given a written warning for that, SAFTEY FIRST y’know

I’d rather not think about it, gotta be 3 zeroes though. Mind you after my amerturish attempts at daubing them in black and silver they’re probably worth much much less. It’s about escapism though, daft as that sounds I can tune out, pick up my mars bar and … sorry wrong site
