just wondered david if you’re connected to cassin road haulage at all? they were bought out by the same outfit as the firm i worked for in the mid 80s and were regular visitors to the yard
around 1988 they ran a superb F12 gobstopper with a stepframe tilt, on contract to Airmotive Ireland chasing all over europe with refurbed (and knackered!) jet engines - it was a BEAUTY and would love to find a photo of it to make a 1/87 version

Blimey, I thought I was the only one afflicted with the bug ! I have about 200 + 1/87 mainly Herpa models on a diarama of a haulage yard, what the Germans call fiktive spedition. When I get 5 minutes I’ll post some pic’s if anybody’s interested.
Some great models there,I’m sure Wincanton never had any trucks or trailers like that, also great models David ,we meet again.
Truck Model World ,brilliant mag ,the only truck model magazine i’ve ever come across,any thing you ever wanted to know is in here also Howard Whitehead from KFS builds models which are featured in TMW nice man to deal and very helpful.

HI JJ72 NO SORRY NO RELATION UNFORTUNATELY ALTHOUGH MY FATHER HAD 2 TRUCKS IN THE 1950S/60S AND THEN SOLD THEM.THEY WERE A COMPETITOR AS I WORKED FOR WALSH WESTERN 1987-1992 AND PRESENT WITH UPS.THE CASSIN TRANSPORT WERE ORIGINALLY WEXFORD PEOPLE JUST A STONES THROW FROM MY FATHER A KILKENNY MAN.

no its still the same you just have to try your best to lift it up a bit here a highline io did

ah mate what a fantastic build you’ve done, this really has given me the kick up the aris to get back onto them 
been out the loop a few years does italeri now offer a highline or have you converted it?

lol i’ve got the bug back mate i was up my loft at 2200 last night going through all my boxes i’ve found about 10 italeri kits untouched 
and a 4 series that i converted to a twinsteer with large fuel tanks then got side tracked, thats gona be the first mission, gona do it like the one i’m drivin with a twist
did you find anything good up there .
