But you’ll have enough work in the F12 ot keep ya busy while your looking for the tilt !
The Scania is a heller kit can be a bit tricky for a first build, the F88 Transkit well you will wanna build one eventually !

Jimski, yes I’m in Canada now, been here since 08.

I have, thanks to Jelliot, got a link to a Gruber tilt :sunglasses:

Jimmer, the one thing that stands out on your models are the wheels, do you use resin wheels or standard kit wheels?

another excellent forum is 24thscalemodeltruckforum.co.uk/.
you actually have to join before you can view the whole site but its worth it.some superb models on there, and some top advice for newbies-very friendly aswell.loads of reference material on there also.lots of members are on both sites but its a bit easier to use than tmw in my experience.

Got registered just have to wait for approval

How long does it take to be approved

should only be a day or so

Hi Newmercman I used to use the kit wheels but on the Oryx tilt I used resin split rims from KFS, and on the 89 too all resin, and I will use them from now on, they look much better. Good luck with the Gruber!
Wow Canada ay livin the dream !

It’s seems a lot of people are doing that nowadays I would love to move to Australia or Canada but I love were I live now would you not try to make a American lorry like a 379 or w900 .jimski would I be able to get them for my daf

My goal is to have a model of every lorry I’ve owned or driven, so a 379 will definitely feature.

Got a lot of work in front of me, but there’s no rush, there’s no a lot of stuff to do when it’s -30c so I’ll have plenty of time.

That will take some time to do I’m just going to make lorries I like and then someday when I get use to it I hope to make my favourite lorry a scania LS vabis

Is this a good idea or not I may make a car model kit first before I start the daf something like a mk1 or 2 ■■■■■■ capri serria carlton rx7 rx8 r34 golf bora gti focus rs 80 90 a4 quattro rs4 s3 m3 m5 slk evo I could think of many more

On the whole truck kits aren’t to bad to put together, and at 25 quid on ebay they’re not to expensive either, just jump in and have a go. After you’ve got your head round it you can have a go at a dream build…

Jeff…

Hi, here’s a quick mock up I did earlier today, lots to do still but it’s getting there.
