Hi, thanks mate, I’ve still got a bit to do but i can sense it’s nearly there!
I only do a small bit at a time, finding time isn’t easy but I prefer to do 20 minute spells rather than hours!
Good luck with your project, looking forward to seeing your scannie done!
Cheers, harryvr6.

What’s on in September
Gaydon!?
Gaydon truck show Sunday 14th September.
SO if you didn’t use Photobucket what did you use Jim.
Here’s few more from me, the truck has been on other threads… I probably don’t need to give to many details about this one, but anyone has any questions just ask.
Transcontinental trans kit from Kit Forum Services, modified Italeri Volvo chassis, scratch built trailer, decals Chris Moxham, sand from the kids sand pit, weather by Hobart city council.
Jeff…
Seen it before Jeff but must say again outstanding mate !!! Sandpit Sunshine your living the dream Jeff!! I got mud pit and P*****g rain !
How do you cope with the heat and fragile plastic models Jeff ? Do the heat get to them ■■
I posted the pics by “attachments” but I only know how to do it one pic at a time !
Regards Jim.
I have never used Flicker/Photobucket as I heard of someone that lost his on one of them. Jim on this site you just keep clicking add an attachment after each photo you can get quite a few on one go and if you go over the limit it tells you you have exceeded the limit. Eddie.
PS Hi Jeff you might have gave that motor a WASH before you took them photos mate.
Thanks for the comments guys, the constant rain got to me, which was one of the reasons I left. The heat doesn’t really bother the plastic much, and it’s good for drying paint. At the moment it’s 8c with rain and lot of fog in the mornings. Winter is coming so it’ll be snow up in the mountains soon.
Eddie I like the weather effect, once I finish a model I look at it just doesn’t look right when it’s all shiny and new. But you’d think that after all the models that have ever been built and weathered someone would have managed to put one together without the fuel tank leaking at the lid.
Jeff…

I’ve just read on the TMW site that Traplet is going drop the magazine which is a real shame as it was a fantastic publication, however another publishing house is going to is going to take over, with Peter White still at the helm. The other big question is what’s going to happen to the TMW forum. Thousands of people have put millions of bits of very useful information on there over the years, and it has been a fantastic source of information to any one interested in model trucks, it would be a travesty for it just to disappear, especially when there are still so many people interested in the subject.
We still have a few forums going about like the 1 24th Scale Truck Model Forum, and the German one which I still can’t remember the name of. Judging by the geographical diversity of the bloggers on the TMW, it would suggest that the TMW forum is a world leader.
I’m not sure on the technical or political details, but perhaps Trucknet UK could expand this thread to accommodate or host the existing Truck Model World Forum.
It does mention on the TMW forum that the internet side of things is still up in the air and the decision is still to be made, but if they’re pulling he plug on the magazine it wouldn’t make much sense to continue to run the on line side of things…
I hope it turn out well for all involved and something can be sorted out.
