Yes just leave the side and rear skirts of and use the front bumper, a pair of wings, and lights form the other kit.

Jeff…

Thank you for the help

If you go onto the Truck Model World site a fella called g.keenan has not long started a build of that very truck !!
Same photo too. Coincidence or what ! :unamused:

There have been problems with the site in the past but email this bloke and he should be able to sort things out for you. peter.white@traplet.com

That still will not help him Jeff I tried that about 2yrs ago when I got shut out of it he sends you back a password but the site recognises either your username or e-mail address and no way can you get in and I certainly wasny going to change my e-mail address. It appears to be a crap setup they are bound to know a lot o guys cant log on but they wont do anything about it. Eddie.

Maybe thats why there are so few users on it now. I tryed logging in a while back and it wouldn’t let me, but I thought they’d get it sorted out by now. When I was a regular there, there were 50 to 70 posts a day, now it seems there is even that much a week. Shame really as it was a good site with loads of good helpfull folk…

It’s a shame it seems like a very good website

After a few unsuccessful attempts a couple of years ago , I finally managed to join up to T.M.W. website last summer.
Since then , Ive only had a couple of failures to log on` , probably during website maintenance.
I can not comment on the site before my joining , but there is a good variety of topics to be read.

Cheers , cattle wagon man.

1/ 24 scale model truck forum. and there’s a really good German site as well.

You could go to WH Smith and get Truck Model World magazine or you can subscribe to it.

Jeff

Hi, good luck with the scania build mate, I would like to try another of these, I had a bit of trouble with one many years ago I recall!

At the moment I’m attempting to build this: I’m on TMW aswell but thought I’d add it to this thread too.

I seem to be having trouble editing my first post, I’ll try to rectify this, I’ve got some pics of the build which is still in progress at the moment, I suppose there isn’t much to see yet! I’ve gone for a luxury interior on this build with a walnut style centre console and plush blue interior rather than the standard issue biscuit colour. I’ve got the trailer under way too and I’m making all my own decals. I have almost finished painting the cab so I’ll be done in a few weeks I hope!

Cheers harryvr6.

Here’s the almost finished interior:

Some of you may be familiar /bored with my build from TMW! It’s on going and slow progress I’m afraid.

I’ll get the link up to my build it may be easier than keep posting pictures here,

Many thanks, harryvr6

Hi mate, regarding the decals I’ve got some letraset and some clear decal paper to use. My mate is a superb artist and he is doing the sea scape murals for me but he said it’s going to be months until he gets round to it! I’m going to get the truck finished without them for now and see how it looks.

Cheers, harryvr6.
