Thats the best model I have ever seen. how much would it be to get one made

Top notch as usual Jimski and I’ve dragged that trailer around myself, first of the thin wall 24plt fridges, bloody nightmare in summer with frozen, them old Thunderbirds used to work hard keeping up with it

Hi Newmercman, many thanks for that  I wouldn’t know anything about the fridge work back in the day I never got jobs like that ! Seems a good job fridge work ! I only got tilts and plenty of strip downs !! But loved it !!
Cheers !

There’s an idea for your next project, a stripped down tilt, loaded with something that doesn’t quite fit, maybe a Transcon on the front, so you can continue your theme of iconic lorries

Ok, the build after that then

I’m sure you’re not short on ideas, but a PIE 2800 would look good too, after the Transcon with stripped down tilt, of course

Hey up Newmercman I already got a list !!! :unamused: :unamused: so many trucks so little time !!

Hi Jimski!

Another really cool piece of work and extremely well detailed (for example the stickers in the screen).
I would run mad with these tiny plastic things and give up after an hour…

Regards!

Irish lorries…
The top photos are the model and the bottom one is the real one…

There are a few guys on here that build as full time hobby, I know Wirralpete and Wolfie used to build for customers, not sure if Jimski does though. They,er not cheep though as there’s the best part of 200 hours in each model, can be up to 150 quid for kits and parts glue and paint, plus the same again for the trailers not to mention that to get to that kind of standard you need to have put in many years practice.

I have a Scania 142 draw bar that owes me 600 hours and that’s just one of them.

It’s a good hobby to get into if you have spare time, perhaps a bit frustrating at first, but when you get your legs it can be very satisfying.

The amount of stuff that’s available at the moment means that you can build just about any kind of truck in any livery, either made up or real.

Look up Truck Model World Forum and see what other builders have done.

Jeff…

A couple from me.

This one owes me 600 hours

Jeff…

And a couple more…

]

As I said you can build anything you like…

Jeff…

I remember seeing them in the TMW mag Jeff … Superb builds !!

Regards Jimski

I never imagined that truck modelling would become so sophisticated. These are works of art, worthy of places in top London museums. Robert
