MODEL TRUCKS

Made a start on the haz boards tonight. The one on the right is how they come. However ours are a different set up. So once letraset numbers had been applied they were cut out into individual plates then attached to a black painted board. There’s a space on the board to attach a secondary placard. The numbers on the decal sheet are the emergency contact number that goes along the bottom of the board. The white strip will be painted black and fitted around the numbers as runners for the plates like on the full sized tanks

My latest build, Kew Dodge from the film ‘Hell Drivers’ complete with garage diorama. The entire model is built from scratch:

Always a lot of debate about the colour scheme of these wagons, however general consensus is green and black as they were loaned from W W Drinkwater. However to avoid argument, of course they were black and white in the film :grimacing:

Cheers

Ian

That is a cracker Ian,The garage is fantastic so real looking I tell you though the Dodge needs another 6"greedy board cause the rate them buggers went round corners some o that gravel is gonna come off. Seriously Ian another winner. Eddie.

It’s a very good realistic model and something to be really proud of, I wish I had the skill or patience to get one anywhere near that standard.
