Hi all,Here is my latest model lorry build its 1/24th scale:
Its a Guy Big J 8 wheel bulk blower/tipper coal lorry, based on a real lorry once operated by the Wulfruna Coal Company.
The cab, chassis and body are all scratchbuilt, the wheels, fuel tank, diff’s, air tanks etc are all cast in resin by myself:
It took me around 1 month to build from start to finish.

I’d be bloody good if they were ! But no mate my patients and skill ain’t that good ! They are the Heller kits with a few aftermarket parts

Finished this one a couple o weeks ago it’s an ALBION KL127 from 1937 based on one thats preserved in Ayrshire it was owned by Maitlands but they finished a while back so I am not sure who owns it now but I have done it in Maitlands colours and will get some graphics for it sometime. It is 1/25th scale well nearenuff.!!!. Eddie.

Is that a Big J or a Seddon ? Spent many a happy day riding about with my old man in Tankers of that era, usually Scammells or Fodens at Shaws Fuels / Sykes Bulk Liquids Huddersfield
lol me too mate, dad worked for castrol all through my youth, ive done a sed atk 400 in castrol colours with a modified italeri tank, this is a big j dad drove as well with the tank 90% scratchbuilt
