MODEL TRUCKS

finally getting this kit completed, its been 97% built in the truck whilst ive been away. its the emhar bedford using parts from the italeri opel blitz kit. both in 1/24th scale

I like that Pete, good job!

No problem hiding that when on a dodgy Pete  Castrol livery coming up?

LOOKING GOOD PETER NICE TO SEE THE BEDFORD COING ON.

Some of you may have seen this in TMW, Peter White saw it at Spalding model show the day after I finished it and asked for some pictures, I only took pics during the building to make sure it looked about right, all I had was a couple of photos and memory to go on.

Dry fit of components using Blue-tac

The finished thing

thats a grand bit of metal work there, fairplay.some detail.
i seen this alright in tmw

Just bought this Scania A bit memrobilia for me I worked for them for 9 yrs it will go with the MAN which was bought for me

If anyone’s interested, there’s a few of these 1/24 Bedford kits on E-bay Germany at the moment.

THEY HAVE TURNED OUT TO BE A NICE MODEL THE BEDFORD
(I SEE U LIKE THE MIGHTY JIMI HENDRIX I SHARE A BIRTHDAY WITH HIM)

THERES A LOT U CAN DO MODELWISE.THERE HAS BEEN QUITE A FEW BUILT ON TMW

I like that concrete mixer metal model, I’d like to see the build pics of that.

Ok another commission, decals by alex parkin, model by corgi built for my mechanic at work

(for those who dont know, im a head greenkeeper of a golf course and we run john deere lawnmowers lol)

I was amazed to see on E-bay last week someone selling a couple of old DAF 2800/3600 kits for spares or repair,I think there were around 11 or 12 bidders, and the price was up to around £35!

I think it’s time I sorted out my scrap box and started making some money

There was also an original Heller Scania 141 kit in it’s original box that went for over £80.Is the 141 still available? Didn’t Heller re-release it a while ago?

I think you’re right…time to clear out the bits box, Heller did re-release the 141 again but that was a while ago so I’m not sure if it’s still available, I have one still to build, the intention was to use what panels I could to make a Scania 80 day cab rigid, if they’re fetching that kind of money I might go back to plasticard

Few of my most recent 1:50 attempts, starting with my latest / best.

Tekno base model with nothing extra apart form wheel trims and a lick of paint. JCB promotional merchandise truck.

WSI base model, in the colours of my ficticiuos agricultural transport fleet.

Tekno base model, flagship of my ficticious fleet. Features a super detailed interior, sporting a nameplate, driver, bedding, tax discs, no smoking stickers, mags / newspapers and a sat nav.

WSI base model, standard, nothing added. Just a spot of colour.

Hope you enjoyed looking at them, not bad for a 14 year old, hey.

Would just like to thank everyone who has given me help in the past to get my models to the standard they are!!!

Just noticed I have poseted two WSI TGX XLX 4x2’s and two DAF XF105 SSC 6x2 rigids!

I have put some stuff on E-bay.
Wasn’t sure what sort of price to start them off at,so I had a look at what they’ve been going for over the past few month’s and started near that.

I saw the Italeri 770 Scania 142 Road Train had gone for £75 just before xmas, and I remembered I’d got one in the basement.

Heres most of my models, the majority are 1:24th scale. You’ll have to play guess the livery as quite a few are still without decals.

And the very latest one, a scratchbuilt 1:24th tug:

that tug is awesome would love to make one myself might get my finger out and start one

Taught him everything he knows    :smiling_imp:

Here`s a pic so you can finish the front of that Siddle C Cook consetbell

Cheers greek. When I get home in Easter its getting pinstriped and decalled, along with better registration plates and chrome headlight surrounds. And it’ll be on display at Barnard Castle fully finished this time!

And Chris I’ll just call you Lonewolf Yoda
