Shuttle, Some nice models there, for your 6x2 buy two DAF kits and steal the extra axle and wings from the second kit. The wheelbase is long enough to fit the push axle in there.
Heres one i did earlier.
What’s a big blue ?

this is a Big Blue
is that the Italeri kit that you made yours from?
i have already purchased two Italeri DAF XF95 kits to do the conversion, not only will i need the extra axle, but also the cab side panels and the roof line, i will be getting a facelift model dashboard from M&G Mouldings, KFS only do the pre facelift RHD dash
did you use the front steer axle for the second steer? and did you cut the axle to make it look like a second steer from underneath?
Wolfie, How do i get the UK number plate font on to my computer ? I’m not very good with computers i’m afraid.
Cheers

Theres a button on the page to download. Download it onto your computer and then extract it. Then take the file that ends with .ttf or summat like that and cut and paste it into your C: Windows/fonts folder.
Are you on Win XP or Vista/Win7?
Or just send me an email and I’ll email the file to you…
Chris, pm sent, cheers mate
Tom
Shuttle, Mine is the italeri kit with the second spare steer axle in place of the pusher. Its not an acurate representation of the DAF set up but good enough for me. Give me ashout and i’ll turn it upside down and take some photos for you, i made this one a wee while back so can’t quite remember how i done it.
Had a look at the link to Big Blue, cool modeling in 1:1 scale ! Remember seeing it in one o the truck mags a wee while back, i did think about makin a model of it around the time i made my DAF. I will folow your thread and see how big blue progresses.
Like Chris said, come and see us on the TMW forum, lots of knowledge help and advice always available.
Cheers
Tom
Theres at least 2 threads on there concerning adding axles.
