Heres another one done. Loads of extras on this one. Some from KFS and some scratchbuilt. Based on the old Italeri Turbo truck 142 with an intercooler grille added and the steering switched to RHD. Upright stacks and trunking. Loads of roof furniture, a few extra lights, sliding 5th wheel and mud flaps all round!

hi , can anyone recommend a decent adhesive/glue suitable for metal-metal , and plastic -metal as i need to modify and repair some of my 1/50 diecast , here is a few from my collection , many thanks .

That Minichamps 141 must be the best model of a Scania ever made…Superb Model
I would use something like Araldite or Devcon for repairing them, Superglue might be OK for some parts but dont use it anywhere near the glass on the cabs and always scrape the paint off where it meets

thanks lemonmouth and indeed everyone else on here who’s models and model making skills put me to shame,
hence why i try to stick with the 1/50 diecast ,
the blue brs volvo f88 is in fact a corgi model ,here is a few pics of the real thing .

why not try and touch in the curtain buckles and the bump stops on the rear, will finish the job off nicely, a small brush and a big helping of patience ought to do it.

If your doing buckets and straps, i use a marker pen like a sharpie or cd marker, add a dab from a silver pen for the buckle and hey presto !
