how long did this kit take you ?,
how long did this kit take you ?,
Errr I didn’t time it but not much over a week or 10 days (I’m unemployed at the moment ) You are really only held up by the time it takes waiting for paint coats to dry.
This kit is quite old and needs a bit of care to get a good result and theres no resin aftermarket parts to switch to RHD, you have to cut and paste old style fortunately the dash is easy, its just the centre console that needs chopping up and altering.
I added the roof rack and aircon box, the susie gantry and susies and the decals are home made.
Nice Model Wolf . Well done for posing it with the doors closed which I’ve read has caused problems on this model. Also the cab shell tends to warp but yours looks very good.I guess picking these up is becoming quite difficult in the market nowadays ,seen alot of big prices quoted.

LOL well don’t pay them. Heller re-released this kit not so long ago and you can certainly get it from Heinz at around 30 euros. Bearing in mind its postage from Austria too.
Even better try this link to a UK shop modelhobbies.co.uk/shop/hell … -8195.html I ordered mine Sunday and got it first thing this morning, great price too.
That Essex model looks the business, would look good with a ‘KING OF THE ROAD’ yellow/black sticker that used to be in the Italeri kits.

OK so I started trucking in the 80s but I was very young for a wagon driver at the time. Lets put it this way, you wouldn’t expect to see anyone under 25 on the continental run. Well I was.
Ain’t renewed my licence first time yet! (Mind you its not long away lol)
