i have seen some models of the countrywide trucks ,they look the biz.mark maguire did some of the models up and some decals a while ago.
just waiting for the last decal to go across the sun visor (not yet fitted before you ask) and this is done.
Pin stripe took over 12 hours to fit, bear in mind each headlight is 8 seperate pieces of pin stripe, you can imagine why its taken so long.
VERY NICE .THATS PATIENCE AND A STEADY HAND FOR YOU TC

Manificent tc trans!! I really admire your skill, the subject and the excellent eye for super detail, thanks for sharing it with us all.
A scammell routeman made by howard at KFS in memory of my dad who drove for halls in the 1970s.
TC, the MAN looks the business, i know what you mean about the time to do the pin stripes, but defineatly worth the effort. Who made up the decals for you? they look perfect. I saw this motor on the road yesterday.
Tom

Thanks Tom, its a friends truck, hence the reason a sassenach from down here made that one, not aware McKerralls do much into our area.
The decals were made by Chris from Bath, his e-mail addy is here.

I am well pleased with his decals, and all froma photograph too, excellent stuff.
very nice job on the MAN there TC - that scammell is lovely too, mind it should be as mr whitehead is pretty much a professional modeller, like what i want to be when i grow up/get rich/retire early etc etc not that any of the above are likely
TC, i see McKerrals and McFadyens of Campbeltown regularly as i live just up the road from the paper mill where they run the timber to. Always well turned out motors, very nice liveries also.

pete this is a seddon my old mans former employer had it was the oldest working truck 20 odd years ago in ireland
she pumped pellets in the wavin factory in dublin.
evening all does anyone know where i can get a volvo fm cab and a skip body for a new project to start many thanks
mgmouldings.co.uk/volvo.htm for the fm cab,kfs kitform service use to do a skip body but i don’t think howard does them any more
the part no for the fm is v43 but i’d say you would need a donor kite i.e an fh volvo or kfs has chassis in his store for approx 8 stg.hope this helps
cheers
david
