Yes its a Windows Mobile 7. Its very different to the previous versions and there is no “direct” link to the pc but once it is set up it works very well.
I think it is better than previous windows mobile versions, just takes a little getting used to.

After getting a 3 year ban last year I got a job working for an outsourcing company on Vodafone. Best phone I can reccomend is the HTC Desire S. Just look at the reviews on it, it’s faster than the IPhone,(which uses a samsung processor), and lot more free apps. The Iphone is a higher tarrif rate per month, and you will probably have to put a contribution to it(VF have no control over this,Apple dictate the terms of the contracts). I got the HTC Legend b4 i worked for VF, and its a briliant phone. The desire has a larger screen with a faster processor. I hope this is of use to you, You wont be dissapointed the Desire, I just hop its around next may when I upgrade.
with regards to the battery i have a htc desire hd and yes the battery is crap but i brought a 1950ma (1200ma came with the phone) for about £8 from ebay and this last me for 1 & 1/2 days, and the phone is the best i have every had, good size screen to see the maps and loads of free apps ect
HTC desire has the best operating system, toe to toe with the iphone the only thing the iphnoe has over the HTC is the sheer volume of useless apps.
Ive had the desire for about 6 months it is a great phone

The Desire is a good handset, I used one for 6 months, but technology wise it’s not better. Your might prefer it yes, but that don’t make it better lol

What are you on about? I’ve had an iPhone 4 for a year and it’s a disaster at making calls, I’ve dropped more calls in the last year than I probably have in previous 10.
Oh and the iPhone doesn’t come with a user manual, what did you read?

Don’t care to much for apple mate but I’ve used all the operating systems and the iPhone is the best handset.
The Android handsets are very good but for speed, ease of use and functionality the iPhone is better. That’s the only reason I’m saying it is.
The media went crazy about an antenna problem which isn’t in reality, looks like they sucked you right in.

I’m not at all, it has a case, it’s rubbish at holding on to a network full stop, and anyhow how the hell do you hold yours? It’s the natural way to hold it. The 3GS was a far superior phone and I wish I still had mine.

I think you’ll notice I’ve not compared it to anything. Just said it’s crap at call but great at everything else and you got all uppity. And yeah of course it’s the best phone because its the best selling, just like Lady GaGa is the greatest artist of the past 10 years. It’s called hype, big numbers doesn’t make something good, just means they are genius at marketing.
