There is a Apple press conference for September 12th, to announce the release of IOS 6, it’s rumoured that they (Apple) will announce the release date of iPhone 5, presumably September 21st.

Try installing “swift key 3” keyboard on the galaxy. The stock keyboard is useless I agree. I find swift key far better for predicting words.

That keyboard has transformed the Galaxy S3!! It still doesn’t beat my iPhone 4S but isn’t too far behind now!

Glad to help.
In my opinion apple are far better build quality… Just too restricted in customization. I can upgrade in October. Undecided at the moment between a galaxy s3 or the new galaxy note 2.

Easy answer for me (iPhone) but we all have different opinions. Just this afternoon I was talking with our Geek-boy (IT Support, to give him his proper title) and he loves the Galaxy S3 very very very much. I called him to see of there was a fix for some of the problems I’ve been having with mine and in the course of researching the problem he found quite a few reported issues.
The ‘motion’ on my phone is all cocked-up. When you have the phone to your ear the screen goes blank (it is supposed to) but when I take it away, it stays blank and I can’t end a call!! 
My wifi is quite weak and drops the connection often. Turns out this is a fairly common problem. Not forgetting my signal strength issues - others in our team (one with a BlackBerry and one with an iPhone, all on the same network) are getting 4 -5 bars strength while I get 1 - 2, sometimes none, in the same location!! 
Geek-boy also told me about overheating problems that lead to the phone freezing/locking-up, which I didn’t know about but does go some way to explaining why I am having to re-boot virtually everyday! 
His final comment was “All the white ones are fine, even though they look very gay. Your blue one is better looking but is a dud!”
I tend to agree with him . . . . . . . .
Like I said, iPhone for me!!
Got to agree about the wifi being very weak. My s2 has shocking reception. I was hoping that Samsung had addressed that with the s3 but obviously not.

Mite stick with the iPhone I had the iPhone 3 never had any trouble odd freeze every now and then, had a problem with it but 02 sorted in store with a reset…
Unlike my blackberry had the curve ■■■■■■ the buttons up press o and I would work found out jeans did it… Then got a replacement which was slow and keeped getting the loading clock, so I was told upgrade to the torch which I did about 6months later when to upgrade the software and blackberry uploaded a ■■■■■■ up file on my bb so it would keep switching it self off and the battery was getting hot so got a replacement “the phone iv got now” now I’m getting the loading clock keep coming up , blackberry support via orange said if you take your battery out it reboots the software but it’s a kinda pain you gotta keep doing this
So maybe time to go back to good old Apple 
as blackberry as lost me since there rim going down for a few days last year

Geek-boy sent me the following, last night. I’ve just tried it but its too early to say if it works or not.
- Go to your phone dialler
- Dial *#0011#
- When you see the “ServiceMode” screen, press the left menu button
- Select “WiFi”
- See that “Wifi Power Save Mode” button that is “ON” - well turn it “OFF”
- Exit this menu, turn off your Wifi and turn it back on. If you already entered all your wifi credentials, forget your network info (remove it) and re-enter it
. . . . . . . and if you’re still not put off the Galaxy S3, this came through this morning!
