So earlier on I was backing under a trailer on the yard that some agency driver had dropped too high.
I was in a bit of a rush and not concentrating and as usual I missed the pin causing the headboard to smash into the back of my cab.
It dented it a bit but I’m not bothered … It’s not my truck.
My biggest complaint is the impact knocked my collection of naughty magazines off the shelf I fixed up inside and my large cup of Costa coffee tipped over and soaked 5 of them.
Do you prefer magazines or do you use those new fangled iPad things to view photos of scantily clad young ladies?
In the 80’s 4yrs of double cabbing with the blonde size 8 missus meant no need for “gentlemen’s reading material”.
Now it would be an iPad !..she is long gone (thank god)

There’s no way the union can defend you from getting a final written warning having damaged 5 important artistic magazines with a badly placed coffee cup.When any professional driver should be expected to make sure that the cup was being safely used for drinking while steering the wagon under the stupidly too high trailer with one hand.

Is it just me or does there seem to be an unusually high abundance of them joining these days?
If your going to be sarcastic at someone, you need to quote which post. Otherwise its just a random, gibbering load of nonsense which isnt actually aimed at anyone in particular.
But if your going to knock agency drivers it might be a good idea NOT to do it in the same post as admitting to bashing a truck then saying you dont care since its not yours. Not exactly showing full time employees in a superior light for work attitude, driving skill OR intelligence is it? (Thats if you even are an hgv driver of course. I have my doubts)
You got one out of ten for that attempt but in another fail on your part im not agency, therefor you were deducted 1 point meaning you have now reached the plumb depths of achieving 0/10 for trolling and intelligence. Here you go, a quick lesson, if it’s been dropped up in the clouds, STOP (using the vehicles brakes, not the rear of the cab), raise the suspension (using the Raisy Suspension Buttony thing) & lower the trailer (using the Windy Handle in Low Gear) on to the 5th wheel.

I find it amusing when a new member appears. They go all out mental, posting on every thread and creating new thread after new thread. Within a week of passing their test, they become experts in every field going and therefore class them selves as enough of an authority to argue on every topic going. After a month (often a lot less) they will have a melt down and chuck the toys overboard as their pram careers downhill, in much the same fashion as they probably drive.
