Mini Coopers aware!

Is it only me whose always getting cut up by these fcks. Yesterday i had had enough. Heading towards the dartford toll yet again a mini cooper roared by me before sqeezeing into my braking distance. Then this mini cooper just slowed down all for nothing it must of been the third time that day a mini cooper had interupted my peace and i saw red. :smiling_imp:

I did a stupid thing i admit  i pulled out overtaking the ■■■ then swerved in forceing this mini cooper into the inside lane. Daft i know but i coudnt help myself i had had enough of mini coopers and there crap driving. Credit to this mini cooper he never even beeped his horn just raced off into the distance no doubt happy to have fcked with a wagon drivers day.

Believe it or not going anti clock later on the M25 another mini cooper cut me up before roaring off. :smiling_imp:

Iv binned me old volvo aware sigh and im gonna make a mini cooper aware sigh  :sunglasses:

i got done by one coming over tinsley viaduct the other day

those of you that know the area will know that there are only 2 lanes on the actual bridge, the third lane is formed by the entry slip at each end.
anyway i get to the end and there are 2 cars in lane 1 doing about 50,the second one(mini) is right up the first ones arse with it`s r/h indicator on.as i go past car one speeds up a bit thus holding the mini at my side for a while, eventually car 1 speeds up a little more then the mini comes up the inside squeezes through the gap and off into the distance.
nothing out of the ordinary really, but the driver(early 20s female)gave me a right dirty look on her way past.mind you with her vast experience she was probably entitled to do what ever she liked

Working in and around Oxford, where they are made, i see hundreds daily. Can anyone tell me why EVERY Mini is now called a cooper? Original Mini coopers were the original “hot Hatch” version of the standard mini, with more powerful engine, racing colours and were designed by John Cooper for rallying, such people as Paddy hopkirk, Timo Mäkinen and Pat moss drove them to victory in the monte carlo rally
Now you see mini Cooper diesels!!! and I’ve seen qutie a few of the new Cooper works cabriolet, It is Awful! the roof looks like something made by LEGO< the rear lights look like they forgot to put indicators on, so put a couple off an old Marina on with blue tack, the top half looks smaller than the bottom half, like they cut a standard mini in half and stuck the top bit onto a cut down countryman. And why the hell does a front wheel drive car need a rear spoiler to pop up when your doing 40 MPH■■?
No doubt there are 4 million hairdressers in europe already wet at the thought of paying over the top for one.

They are driven by tools who cannot afford a proper BMW

ive got a proper mini-

wouldnt mind a nice 06 reg supercharged cooper s though, then i can go cutting up lorries lol.

Mini subject aside , I don’t get why people are shocked to see diesels with a sporty name at the front , such as cooper or a version of sri.
Diesels these day produce more torque and bhp then it’s petrol equivalent.
BMW atm is producing diesels with some pretty impressive figures and it’s only until you start getting into proper straight 6 and or V8 M engines does the diesel lose out. Throughout the range the diesel produces more torque and bhp than the petrols.
It’s also rumoured that BMW are experimenting with tri-turbo diesel engines and maybe handing them over to the M division for some extras.
I,m running a 2litre BMW diesel and thats running at around 170 bhp and can be mapped to 210bhp for a few quid.

Anyway modern minis are mostly driven by mongs who can’t drive. I know 2 women , both with minis and both appaling drivers.

Was it a PROPER Mini Cooper, like this:

I deliver to BMW occasionally and I’ve never known a place of work that self-congratulates themselves so much; bloody “look at Mini, it’s great” type signs everywhere…

It it makes you feel better, I was going w/b past Sarn Services on the M4 last week and seen one of those pretend coopers burnt out on the hard shoulder, one back for the truckers!

ive got a proper mini

It’s close but personally I think all proper minis should have 10" wheels, I don’t think they look right with anything bigger.

As a young man (23) I would rather have a proper mini cooper 1.3i. I drove my dads and it’s so much fun. Only problem is you do discover bumps no other road user is aware of.

New minis are just a fashion statement.

I have owned 5 Minis, 4 originals and 1 made by BMW…if anyone thinks that the old ones were in anyway better than the new, then they know absolutely nothing about cars!
Maybe some of us have been cut up by Mini drivers, but I bet we have been cut up by drivers of all other makes of cars!!!

I had a Rover Mini Cooper 1.3i. it went well and had the walnut dash, leather seats etc but the electrics were so crap I didn’t keep it a year. Should’ve known it’d be a heap of (zb)it judging from the Rover badge.

i saw one drive into the back of a taxi on sunday at the train station…■■■■■■ myself laughing because they had been queued behind each other for ages…and it was a woman driver lol

Perhaps they are in " the self preservation society "

my wheels are only 12 inch for the bigger brakes i can squeeze inside them-metro turbo vented disks and four pot calipers against original cooper s disks (if you could afford them lol)and two pot calipers-not with 120 odd bhp thanks! and better tyre choice 165/55/12 instead of 165/70/10 .i think they look okay-
