milk tankers

Sorry to hear that Topmixer11, you walked away from it though and hopefully know what went wrong so you can prevent it next time.

That concrete road looked well wide  and not a piece of mud in sight, a decent farm by the looks of it.

If it all goes wrong where I’m going. I might be tempted to give this a try if them rates were to get better that you described  Can’t see that happening with what’s happening in the dairy industry to date :frowning:

I QUITE LIKE the aromas  lots of fit horse riders not naked though couple of farmers dogs so far very friendly and the wild pig , worst part is the flies going to get some repellent as it can spoil sitting outside while waiting for tank to fill, i was watching the cows on the merrygo milking round yesterday quite amusing well for me anyway , just waiting for a quickie with a farmers daughter now really that would be a bonus

2 farms today 6 am start home indoors by 3 :stuck_out_tongue: time for a 10k to burn off my bacon roll Friday treat 1st pay day Pleasantly surprised grossed 653 took 529 basically for doing ■■■■ all :sunglasses: :stuck_out_tongue:

enjoy your updates and pics, cheers

Remember dig the right hand mirror harder into the hedge than the left, that way you don’t have to get out to straighten it up  .

Advice been well heeded regarding mirrors cheers

Today I had 6 :stuck_out_tongue: farms. In Kent some tight wet entrances   Had to improvise and take a diversion along unknown track but came out ok  hard 90 degree reverse up a ■■■■■■■ slope to back on to dairy tanks ,lost the traction got there in the end LEARNING CURVE COMING ON THIS SCENARIO anyway all done got back intact ,and it’s amazing how when going down a few unknown lanes on diversion that your bum doesn’t squeak as you know it can be done now !!! Haven’t seen a soul all day apart from below

The Hose is not closed :exclamation:
If you get catched, either Roadside Control or by Customer at any Time and Point and the Hose on the Vehicle is not closed on both Side ,… You most likely dispose all the Product in the Tank.
We once had a Tank running to deliver Garages and a Customer foned up the Mineral oil Company that a Top was fallen off a Hose when the Lorry arrived and the hole Load went back to the Refinery.
Its to keep the Product clean, and,Dust and Dirt on the Connection could make them leaking.

The Driving,
If he has Snow Chain in Winter with him? I had once a County Road flooted by Mood. Was real Tricky to do it. But that was once in over 30 Year. My Compliment to the one who di it for Years.

Wait til the winter comes and you get sent up Hitchcocks mountain. That’ll make you squeeze your bum cheeks  Wincanton pick up from the other farm up there (Onka), used to meet them coming down the hill when I was half way up haha. Was a right pain

Glad you’re getting on ok with it. As I said before, it’s the easiest HGV job you’ll ever have, as long as you don’t mind the shift pattern

And yup, found TN again . Does Cruise Control still use this board? ■■■■■■ still owes me a McDonalds :imp:
