Sad how little compassion there is on this forum, yes there is a problem, yes it needs sorting out but remember one thing, they are simply humans like you and I, trying to get by like everyone is. The biggest difference being that many have been through hell, whereas for a lot of you delivering to an RDC or a traffic jam constitutes a really bad day. We are British through sheer luck, not some divine right. Stop looking down on these people.

I agree 100% with you. Apparently the British Army can just go to these countries that these immigrants come from, shoot the place up and wreck it endangering everyone. Then when the frightened residents want to come here because its safer, they’re told they’re not on !! Hows that work ?

Them coming here is a result of our wonderful empire that spread English around the world. It now means many of these people can speak English to varying degrees.If you were in that position where would you go? France? France has many many immigrants from the French speaking parts of Africa who chose France because of their language skills, Spain has lots of South Americans and I’ve met many Brazilians driving Portuguese trucks. The way you lot go on you’d think we were the only country in the world with immigrants.

I’d say you are reading into my posts things that aren’t there. So I see no reason to answer a question about something I haven’t mentioned and therefore you don’t know my opinion of and have just assumed you do.

You’re seriously confusing topics here. This topic is about illegal immigration. Last time I checked I didn’t have any Poles clinging to my axles desperate for a better life. Oh and heres another top tip, being pro something doesn’t mean you subscribe to everything they believe in. If I want a debate about the rights and wrongs of EU policy regarding migrants I’ll start a topic rather than hijack this one.

The “French” do try to do something about it, see the middle part of this report (if you can understand french).
This doesn’t say “what” they are doing about it - just the roads are full of crooks doing different kinds of crime ranging from “syphon heavyweights” (God bless Google Translate! 
) to “Highwaymen robbing the retired on the strip in their sedans and campers”.
Seems to me the problem is “not enough policing” and no “harsh measures taken out upon all arrested for road-based crimes”.
Except “A driver was arrested at the scene” of course. It’s always going to be our fault, to mask the shortcomings in the legal forces power to act. 
For all that’s being done about it by any European government you might as well just open the borders up to anyone. Put a fee on entrance & off you go. At least we would make some cash out of it instead of these traffickers getting it all. When the country gets so full of people that we start dropping into the sea then maybe, just maybe the government will act.
At the end of the day regardless of the reasons why people keep on coming to blighty , blighty is full it’s infrastructure in place cannot sustain the flow of people, and also cannot afford to keep on giving them free medical treatment, or education and there are areas of the uk where there is a lot of racial tension in part caused by the volume of migrants /asylum seekers in those comunities , Some people don’t want to see their neighbourhoods swamped with people who cannot speak or choose not to speak english,or those who hide their faces
It’s not only this but some of these people want to have their own laws, and not ours ,and don’t want to intergrate infact some make no attempt to do so, IMO bilghty could be storing up big problems for the future
