FRENCH BORDERS CLOSED, STATE OF EMERGENCY - THE UK PROFESSIONAL DRIVERS FORUM (INTERACTIVE) - Trucknet UK Full video of it, and probably why he got so ■■■■■■ with the scum at calais

what a pity he didnt collect a few of them scumbags.

noticed how most were around 18 to 20 yrs old

But it shouldn’t be happening, a driver going about their lawful work or the ordinary people of Calais shouldn’t have to put up with thousands of people wandering about the motorways causing havoc. I don’t use Euro Tunnel very often, but it’s been getting to the point you don’t really know what you’re going to face, it could be a straight run into the terminal or running the gauntlet of these people while stuck like a sitting duck in a queue of trucks.
the camp should have been cleared long ago, but it’s now so large it will take major manpower to clear it and of course all that will happen is that you’ll disperse these people to other places to try their luck. The French need to start rounding them up, processing them and sending them back.
What those people who send them aid don’t get is that is they’re refugees escaping tyranny why haven’t they ask for asylum in a Country like France. These people are at best economic migrants (so they’re going to work here illegally) and at worst heaven knows who they are.

If they had any sense and they wanted political asylum then they would be in the centre of Paris, and then watch what would be done,

Love it. Wish I could understand what he was saying.

My favourite: “What in gods ■■■■ is going on here?”

Napalm seems a sensible solution. As seems razor wire around the mirrors, and all around the trailer and trailer chassis/axles.

I feel like a right immigrant loving socialist now as I’d only considered trying to get some tear gas canisters, in case they got onto my axles again. :open_mouth:

Muckles , you can not round them up and send them back as they throw away their I’D and passports to avoid being sent back and some burn off their finger prints to avoid being identified.

Is it not easier / possible to cross at Hull??

Taking into account the cost of fines etc if you get caught with immigrants on board??

Surely it’s got to be less stressful / hassle.

Well we’re biased in Tunbridge Wells, but the main problem with using other routes in frequency and availability of the service.

The alternatives for us are Newhaven -Dieppe 1 or 2 sailings a day crossing time 4 hours. Harwich - Hook 2 sailings a day, crossing time 6 hours I think. or out of Portsmouth, Le Harve, Caen or Cherboug. I think the various routes would be up to 3 crossings a day and about 6 hours.

This is against Euro Tunnel up to 6 trains an hour and I think each ferry company operate an hourly service out of Dover to Calais, that’s far more capacity than probably all the other ports combined.

The last trip I did back I did try and re-route due to problem kicking off in Calais again the options were Dieppe or Caen but I was told the Dieppe - Newhaven route was already fully booked for the next 3 days and the Caen - Portsmouth route had a waiting list of trucks. This is whats been happening every time it’s kicked of in Calais this year people try other routes and they’re booked up.

I know they rarely have ID, but this is why they have to be processed, I believe there are ways of finding out where people come from even if they don’t want to give answers. But I think just smashing the camp will mean they just disperse maybe to other ports or truck parking areas further from Calais and in time they’ll drift back to Calais.

DNA has been discovered Tobes, more accurate than fingerprints but still no good if they aren’t on a database somewhere. Cant imagine a lot of co-operation would be got from ISIL in Syria or anywhere else for that matter to help in identifying them either so just intern them until they decide to talk, something similar to Quantanamo would suffice.

DNA would provide a sufficient geographic marker for the purposes of repatriation.‘If’ we had a government that was prepared to use the summary repatriation without appeal option.

Why are they here ? they are of an age when they should be fighting for their beloved country ,send them back to wherever they came from, will be plenty of building work soon for them when our generous government sends billons of aid for the reconstruction when the Russians have finished .
