[And in reply to the others. I did ring Marc at Armoric, but he currently has no vacancies, :frowning: but asked me to send in my CV, so here’s hoping

good im glad you did it and im also glad he gave you the time of day to ask for your cv.

the problem that rattles alot of people on here is that members come on here asking for advice on companies and get good advice then never follow it up and it miffs people. whats worse is they come on here get good advice get a job then never tell anybody or thank anyone and we only find out our advice was fruitful a few months down the line by chance.

I hear what you say there JD and I’ve seen that for myself. Can’t understand why they do that. There’s also those that repeatedly ask the same question (job vacancies , what they’re like etc. ) about different companies and again never come back to say how they got on.

:open_mouth: Maybe they think this is the on-line branch of the job centre

I work as a subbie for both Mesguen and Amoric
And as Neville says about Mark Payne he is a gentleman and i have known him since i was on Frigoscandia 30 years ago and i would say they are good to work for as a driver with nice gear and good conditions.
They are based on the Plympton industrial estate Plymouth and also they have Maureen in a office in the Agen area of France most of there work is Brittany to UK though.
Mesguen is a French company owned by the management in St Pol de Leon where the head office is, they also own Container link in Cherbourg and Frigo 7 in Rennes, they have offices pn St Pol, Boulogne sur mer, Rennes,Plymouth,Dublin, and Harthill Scotland.
They specialise in mainly refrigerated groupage between UK and France.
At the moment i don,t think they have any uk registered units at the moment.
